The Adora Hotel is located in the historic building in the center of Ljubljana but in the quiet part of it (that was the reason of my choice). It is small and cozy and I liked it. Despite the "age" of the building, there is an large elevator for people with disabilities. Few words about young people working there. They are great: very polite and helpful. I stayed with my family during extremely hot period and they always proposed us something to drink (for free) to improve our state. So definitely I would come back if I had another chance to visit Ljubljana.

Adora Hotel is a small hotel, with excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for staff to help you with. When we enquired about taking a bus to Lake Bled, the receptionist printed out all the timetables for us and gave us some very useful information.
The rooms are bright, clean and airy. The range of foods available for breakfast was great - something for everyone. You may want to take ear plugs as the church opposite rings its bells every morning from 7am!

We liked the Adora, and were particularly pleased with the inclusion of a free boat trip in the price. The helpful young team included a travel guide, who suggested places to go. The premises seems to have been renovated recently to a high standard, and the room was very nice, clean with good facilities. Parking was reasonable and nearby. Access is a little tricky with a car, due to the electronically controlled barrier down the street, which requires a staff member to come down and open it. The mortadella at breakfast had small pieces of plastic in it, which caused some throat irritation for some days afterwards, but cleared up fine. We would stay again.

Room Tip: Go for a lower floor, since the lift is VERY slow

In the old town right at the base of the castle hill, we had a perfect one night stay. Parking for a reasonable fee is nearby, but you need to get a neighborhood access card from the hotel to unload/load your luggage at the hotel. The card lowers street barriers that normally block vehicle access. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was on the small side but bathroom was large and modern - very clean. The castle tower has incredible views and Ljubljana is very lively at night with dozens of outdoor restaurants and bars on the river. Would stay here again!

We can only echo the previous guests: this hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated and has extremely helpful staff. Location at the south of the old town is excellent (Ljubljana is very small and only takes 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other). We would happily stay again.

I stayed just one night in Adora Hotel - what a shame it wasn't more. This a beautiful little hotel on the edge of the old town.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble - from a welcome drink when I arrived late in the evening followed by a bowl of fruit in the room and even extra refreshments the following day when I popped back to put something into the bag I had stored with them.
The rooms have a lovely old-fashioned feel but that doesn't mean they are run-down - quite the contrary.
The only drawbacks were that the traffic was a bit loud with the window open. I had a room to the front looking out over the church so was also woken by very loud bells on Sunday morning.
Also the bed was a little hard for my liking.

We stayed at Adora Hotel for one night over Easter 2013. This hotel was lovely and modern, we stayed in a huge double room with a big couch. The shower was fantastic, with old fashioned looking copper fittings, but good pressure.
The hotel is located in the old town, within easy walking distance to everything, and means you can walk up to the Castle from behind missing most of the tourists.
Ljubljana is a lovely city, with lots of amazing restaurants and wine bars, I think we spent the majority of our time hopping from place to place to avoid the rain. I can highly recommend Lolita for amazing cakes and the Dvorni wine bar for great wines.
