“Park with many activities to offer”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Its a very spacious park with lots of benches to sit and watch people strolling by.
During my walk in the park, april time, there where a art / photo display within the park that was very nice.
There where a bowling house, a pool / swimhall, tennis courts.
Deeper in the park the older men where playing boule.
I didnt see any kiosks around but that might be that I didnt look for them but brining a blanket and something small to eat and drink, this is a perfect place for a picnick.

“Very hot in summer”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

I'm sure Tivoli Park is a lovely place, but my impression of it is colored by how hot it was when we visited last summer. I was a little surprised that a *park* didn't seem to have much *shade*. We thought Tivoli would be a nice place to sit and relax for a little bit, but ended up not staying long since it provided little relief from the heat.

The main drag (straight from the main entrance) did have an interesting photo exhibit about some kind of music festival that had taken place the previous year. We didn't walk around the park much since it was so hot. Definitely better to visit in the spring months.

Right next to the park, however, is a very interesting and beautiful Serbian Orthodox church. It's worth a visit if you are already at the park.

“A Green Heaven”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Just minutes walk west from the busy streets, you duck under the ring road and railroad and end up in a sylvan garden. Although it has formal gardens, it is largely wooded and more rustic than I expected. A beautiful, quiet respite.

When we visited in September 2012, we were treated to an outdoor photo exhibit by National Geographic magazine. The expected gorgeous NatGeo photos are unbelievable when presented in large format (about 1 X 1-1/2 meters).

“Walking area”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

10 min. All from hotel. Many walkways, flowers, cafes, small hills for interesting walks. Walks can connect you to zoo, suburbs. Easy access for runners, walkers, strollers. Near embassies, parliament area. Beautiful old trees abound. Main wide center walkway is lined with benches and often exhibits. Great place to walk, run, read a book, take a nap on grass, drink cooe and have pastry, unwind, have a visit or meeting.

“Tivoli Park is huge and a very attractive feature in the heart of the city.”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Walked about the park in the snow. It was beautiful. We did not enter the main house. There was a very interesting display of huge photos lining the walk through the park, showcasing the best of Slovenia.
