The museum is very well presented with exhibits explained in both Slovenian and English. It gives a comprehensive history of Slovenia through the 20th century, starting just before WWI and finishing with its (fairly) recent accession to the EU and joining NATO. If you are visiting and don't know much about Slovenian history it is well worth a visit as it sums up key events in the recent history of the country and was very engaging.
