“The doors are astounding”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

The main cathedral in Ljubljana, we got a quick look inside but it was bang on closing time but the ceiling was amazing and has a Sistine Chapel feel to it. The main doors are an incredible mural telling the story of Slovenia. The artist face can be seen in the bottom right hand corner and it's said if you rub his nose, you'll be lucky.

“Note the main door sculpture”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

Sculpted by a local national, and has been rubbed for luck by many visitors. A great photo op.

“Awesome doors!”
Reviewed April 24, 2012

This is considered to be the main church in Ljubljana (Stolnica). The inside is wonderful, but hey, most catholic churches are ;)
The most awesome thing about this church, to me, are the doors! But beware - the church has two entries! One from the road, and one from the side of the local market. You should check both doors, but I prefer the ones with the 6 bishops of Ljubljana.

“One of the best sites in Ljubljana”
Reviewed April 17, 2012

The doors are worth a visit. They have such a story to tell and were installed for the visit of the Pope a while back. The interior of the church is beautiful as well. But seriously, check out the doors.
