For people coming from one of former Yugoslavian republics it will be enough to say that hotel looks like in "TESNA KOŽA" or "HAJDE DA SE VOLIMO" movies... popular in mid '80s
Looks like nothing changed since those days, and we count 30+ years from that period!
Ok, rooms are clean, but such a poor condition... shower not working, bathroom has that mold odor, you can't close the doors without locking it, beds are screaming, so forget about having sex there :)
Food is nothing special, eatable, consumable...
Staff, all of them, are so friendly that you can't believe they are working in that hotel... in some 5 and 6* hotels you don't get even close friendly service like there.
So only because of them i give it a 3, without the staff... would be and F or 1... total failure!

Room Tip: Take rooms just above the reception to get the benefit of free wifi

In this hotel I was on vacation a week in late September. Perhaps not the most modern hotel but it is clean and friendly. Probably his biggest plus location and good food. Our room was on the side of the parking lot, where there was a lot of noise but we did have a beautiful view of Bled Castle. Because fewer guests during this period two nights we had dinner at Villa Prešern which may not be bad for a change.

Room Tip: If you want a hotel close to the lake, and you do not essential to the extra luxury because it'l...

The rooms are in a poor State. If you want to experience the Feeling of the Old glory of yugoslavia then this is the right Hotel for you.
I cared for a clean, quiete and affordable room. Krim Hotel totally disapponited me.
A doubleroom with breakfast for 70€ is Way to expansive for this kind of a Hotel.

This hotel is an old Communist era hotel that hasn't had much investment in a long time.

Rooms are worn, tired and dark. The hotel is on a busy street so if you are on the wrong side of the hotel I imagine it would be noisy. The room was clean though and I slept okay.

The location is perfect one of the best for hotels in the area. if you don't mind the way the hotel looks, you will be in a perfect location for seeing Lake Bled.

Breakfast was a big disappointing. I had read on here that breakfast was good but it was really nothing special.

Would I stay here again? Maybe....it was a good price and location. As long as you know what to expect going in, it may not be a bad choice.

Stayed at the Krim (or should I say Grim) with friends when our original accommodation was not appropriate. The whole hotel needs a facelift, very tired. Food very disappointing, hard to get a drink as the bar is never open (need to go to the kitchen!). Very nice cocktail bar but you need to walk right around the building to get to it and it closes at 9pm. Cannot get coffee/tea after dinner (unless you go to the kitchen, then it needs to be before the kitchen staff go home). No where pleasant to sit after dinner. One tip, if you still want to stay here, is DO NOT GO TO BREAKFAST EARLY as every man and his dog will be there!!!! Most staff friendly and helpful (apart from one who was rude to my friend). Bedding/Towels clean.

Room Tip: Book another hotel

We stayed in this hotel in the beginning of August 2013. The hotel is very central...a couple of minutes on foot and you'll be by the lake. Our room had a balcony facing the castle. During the night when the castle was lit , the view was very nice.. surrounded then by the mountains. Breakfast was good although they could include also more varieties. Dinner was very good on the other hand. Perhaps they could improve more in the desserts. Staff was ok. Wifi was also very good even in our room. Thank you Slovenia..a beautiful country indeed!
