A definite visit is needed while at the lake. The view is amazing but it is a fairly steep walk up to the top if there are any walking issues.

Still a stiff walk from the car park to the castle, but certainly worth it. The views over the Lake and surrounding countryside are stunning. There is a cafe, tea room, souvenir shop, wine store and restaurant in the castle grounds (although I didn't partake of any of them ). A small museum dedicated to the growth of tourism in the area and a few old aretfact etc, which is OK - nothing spectacular.

The Bled Castle offers spectular views of Lake Bled and the surrounding countryside. The area inside the castle is rather small, but there are several things to do. There is a Gutenberg printing press demonstration, a little cafe, a small museum and a gift shop.

I've been in Bled and i wanted to visit the castle. Entrance is expensive, 11 euro, but the castle is very nice with a terrific view on the lake. Full of tourists, especially Asian groups, you can find some shops inside and a museum that i didn't fully understand because of the multiple and various topics. Anyway, a visit here is a must.

I would point that the most interesting part of this castle are the views. The castle itself is pretty well preserved, but the museum is a little bit of a mix of history, natural history and folklore, that didn't end up convincing me; maybe it's a bit overpriced.

It is very easy to find, there is parking, you wait at front and pay 11 euros to see shops, cafes and restaurants in ruined castle by tourism.
The view is nice.

So, if you visit Bled Castle, you have to buy some honey in their shop, enjoy the view, wich is spectacular. Entrance ticket is too expensive.

The view from the castle on a fine day is great. The museum and other exhibits are ok. But I thought 11 Euros (for an adult admission) was a bit pricey. The climb up from the lake is fine for anyone with good knees and reasonably fit. The restaurant was full and we would have had to have a reservation.
