We stayed at this Hotel recently and received a lovely welcome, in fact more like a friend rather than a guest. The room was full of character and had wonderful views of the lake. We ate in the restaurant twice, once as an anniversary treat and the second time as it was our last night and both times the food was outstanding. A charming near perfect Hotel, great for couples and away from the touristy centre of Bled.

Room Tip: Close the wooden shutters on the windows to cut down light in the morning.

We stayed at this hotel as part of Helia hiking tours. The hotel is in a gorgeous location, on top of a hill overlooking Lake Bled. We got a beautiful lake view room. The room was clean, attractively decorated and most importantly, there was air conditioning in the 30C + heat!

The staff were warm and welcoming and was always there to help answer any questions. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. After several days of hiking I also got a wonderful Thai massage advertised in their spa.

You have to walk down some steep steps to get to the lake and walk about 15 minutes to get to the town of Bled. But frankly I like being in the non touristy section of Lake Bled. If you walk towards the left side of the lake from the stairs there are less people out there swimming, slightly less crowded. I really enjoyed swimming here. Also 20 minutes on your left from the stairs is a great waterfront centre to rent kayaks, perfect for a trip to the church on the island!

I whole heartedly recommend Hotel Triglav for anyone visiting Lake Bled!

We spend several nights here in December of 2012 and had a wonderful time. The views from the rooms are spectacular and the dinners were wonderful...artistic and delicious. Friendly staff, killer views.

We arrived at Lake Bled by train and needed a place to stay. Most of the hotels were on the other side of lake. After walking a bit we found Hotel Triglav and decided to stay there for the night. What a delight. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. During the night we were treated to a thunder storm. In the morning we had a wonderful swim in the hotel pool before a delightful breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet peacful stay a Lake Bled

Room Tip: Lake view room

Small and nice hotel with a long history. Excellent and quiet location with very nice panorama view over the lake. Service driven staff, helping us to organise excursions. High quality restaurant with daily changing 4-course menu.

Room Tip: Most rooms are oriented to the lake and have a balcony.

Stayed for 5 nights at the Hotel Triglav and have only good things to say. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived early, we had a huge corner room - 301 - with an extra double sofa bed for our daughter, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The view of the lake and the island is wonderful and there is a swimming area right below the hotel near the rowing club. The hotel dates from 1906 and is charming, well maintained and the staff are friendly and the pool and sauna were great. Breakfasts were fresh and varied with different coffees and eggs on offer from the kitchen too - a nice touch to have a table of regional Slovene foods to try too. We ate in the 1906 restaurant twice for dinner and for lunch on our last day and the food is excellent and the set menu tremendous value for the variety and quality you get - deer ragout on polenta with truffle potato foam and chocolate fondant (perfectly gooey in the centre) with homemade raspberry ice cream. Simona and the other reception team members are warm, friendly and always ready to help and Daniel and colleagues in the restaurant know their wines well and suggested great, individual pairings. It is a 30 minute walk to Bled and the path down to the Lake is steep so maybe not for the mobility impaired but we liked that it was out of the centre and would very much recommend the hotel.
