“Memorable stay”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

We have stayed in Pr Povsin for a couple of nights in June 2012. We were 2 families with 5 small children together.
We felt we were in a fairy tale setting. Selo kraj Bleda is a beautiful, picturesque little village on the way to Bled itself. It was lovely strolling down the streets and seeing local villagers ( very friendly) doing their daily routines. Our kids loved the amenities in front of the house, tree house, little tractor for our little guy was a big hit. But the feeling of being in a safe, warm environment was the best of all. The owners are very kind and hospitable. The breakfast was just lovely, Home made food, farm eggs, cheeses it was the best breakfast we had in a long time. The accommodation was clean, spacious and the view from our 5 people apartment was beautiful. Our stay in Povsin was as nice as the Lake Bled itself and for sure we will be back when in the area! Thank you!

Room Tip: Great for families, nature lovers, active travellers

The best choice we've made with Bled was to stay at Pr. Povsin, Selo.
Besides the fact that the farm is simply beautiful - the hotel itself was perfect. Comfortable and large rooms, great bed, well-equipped showers and a beautiful balcony made our stay a living dream.
Everything was fresh and rich in our breakfast, which was made with local farm ingredients. The staff was extra nice and helping. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for the double-bed if you need to, ask for the rooms that head the farm if applicable.

We spent 4 nights here as a family with 2 young kids. The room was really spacious and we made great use of the cooking facilities and both the inside table and the huge balconey and table outside.

Everything was beautifully maintained and clean, no tv or anything like that, the basics, but all quality made stuff. There was also a lovely sitting area outside for people to socialise, a hammock and some play equipment for kids.

This place is a working farm and Joze kindly let us watch the cows being milked. We got to try their milk and the handmade butter at breakfast, which was ample. There are also rabbits, fruit trees and gorgeous views. It's a lovely place to be.

It's close to Bled, if you didn't have small kids, leave the car and walk down as parking is such a nightmare in Bled. Also good walks in the selo village and down to the river, which is crystal clear and full of fish.

Although this is out of Bled if you have a car it is 5 minutes from everywhere. We are a family of 6. We got a big, clean room. Everything seemed new. The blankets were warm and cozy, felt like at home and not in hotel (a compliment...). There was a towel warmer device in the bathroom, too. There was a little kitchen, basically equipped, very comfortable for traveling with kids - we had supper "at home". The homemade breakfast was tasty and the owners, although hardly spoke English, were very nice. They even did our laundry for a reasonable price. For the little ones there is a small playing ground to keep them happy in the mornings and evenings when we came back. I highly recommend.....

I bumped into this beautiful bed and breakfast by getting lost on my trip to Bled. It is a beautiful wooden house in the middle of the countryside about 2 km from the centre of Bled.
I would advise you to go just if you have a car or any other means of transport.

Very pretty if you have kids, because there are animals from the farm to go see: cow, calfs, etc.

The wooden rooms are very clean and the bathroom spotless and modern. The breakfast is home made: jam and amazing bread... feels like home!!!
