Visited with 2 friends for our last night. All of us chose the 4 course tasting menu - meat & cheese platter, truffle pasta, filet mignon with foie gras and lastly nut cake. All for €45. I cannot stress how amazing this meal was enough! Let alone the view, the value and the fanatstic service. It's a must do in Bled. Plus, free entry to the castle - what's not to like?

I had Panonka salad, which is not only in good portion but also great in taste.
Although the restaurant has a bar inside, it's definitely recommended to dine outside at the terrace, where you can overlook the lake and the island from above.
The color and the view are just breathtaking!!!!

BTW, don't forget to the coupon (1.5 euros off) from your castle ticket (I did forget).

We had lunch in bled castle. Had a great table right by the window views were amazing high up of the lake and surrounding area. Staff we friendly and efficient. Food was of a very high quality, had the sea bass which was superb! Would highly recommend a visit here if in lake bled as a lunch or dinner highlight.

I enjoyed this castle and the walk in the adjacent woods to return to the hotel. The design was unique, especially the fanciful huge old heaters used to provide radiant heat. There is a goodly amount of historical information on display that helped me gain a better understanding of the area. I wish I had the opportunity to try the restaurant.

We (a family of seven, ranging in age from 9 to 73) came for dinner. The service and food were excellent and also the kids were happy. The bill came to 225 Euro for all of us and we all had plenty to eat. Highly recommended!
