Husband and I stayed for 3 weeks in the heart of downtown Warsaw in Sept 2019. Our AirBnB had a terrible single cup coffee maker that made awful instant coffee. I am a coffee nerd and recently converted my husband to all things coffee. We were two weeks into our trip and playing it safe with large chain cafes such as Green Cafe Nero and Costa Coffee but I wanted so badly to support the local coffee shops and their Polish Owners and employees but our Polish speaking was very elementary despite studying it for 2 yrs prior to our trip. This shop was a 2 minute walk from our apartment and the young lady, please excuse me for forgetting her name, was an absolute angel. She spoke English better than my Polish and offered me up a great description of the Ethiopian roast that had brewed for the day. I reveled in talking about all things coffee and brewing and she was so generous with her attention. We bought an Aeropress to bring back to our apartment knowing we'd have to bring it back home on our flight and a pound of beans she was kind enough to grind to the right consistency for the brew method. The last week of our visit was made so much better having a great cup of locally bought beans roasted in Poland instead of who - knows - where the large coffee chains roast theirs. Spend your money here, visit with the employees and enjoy their great little cafe. You won't be sorry. Thank you Relax Cafe, you made our visit so much more bearable.
