The food is OK but nothing sensational. It is not really as cheap as it sounds. The portions are large for dishes with cheap ingredients like lentils, onion, potatoes etc. but rather small for dishes with more expensive ingredients such as prawns. Besides, once you have added the side dishes like rice, bread etc., it is no longer the cheapish price that you first see for a main course.

“Nice food, but pretty busy”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

Visited Namaste India on an October evening. The place seemed very popular and was busy all the time with people coming and going (take away also seems to be a big thing...). If you want a more peaceful experience, I'd avoid the tables right next to the front door. For a vegetarian Namaste India has plenty to offer, which is always a great thing. The food was tasty (it could maybe be a bit more spicy) and the price was really quite OK (with about 20 euros we two ate really well).

“trully authentic”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

It's actually more a bar than a restaurant. It's small and quite simple, but the food is great and not that expensive, taking into account that it's downtown. Chiapati is great. I ate there 3 - 4 times and everything I tried was delicious. Highly recommended!

“Food abolutely top”

Great food, really popular for polish people in Warszawa. Restaurant location is small but ok. There are also tables outside to eat and take away is also possible. It is quite crowded at night so allow some time until you order is finished.

“Great Indian food and great value for money”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

I'm a Indian food lover and, definitely, I believe this is a very good one, probably the best I could find in Europe even thinking Indian community in Warsaw is very limited!
The restaurant is one of those places you'd never enter if not after very convincing reccomandation, it just looks like a very narrow Indian grocery, but what comes out from their cousine is outstanding! Wonderful curry, if you're brave, ask for the real spicy. The mango yogurt drink is perfect to calm the chily in your mouth :)
The place is small, crowded and not romantic, but please, for the price they charge you, don't complain, don't expect a throne!
