We celebrated our last evening in Warsaw at Przy Zamku on the recommendation of a concierge of the Novotel Centrum. My wife, sister, and brother-in-law all dined on a beef with wild mushrooms, while I had the wild boar chasseur. They liked the beef, while I loved the boar, which has a more robust taste than roast pork. My potato dumplings were delicious.
The first three wines I tried to order were not available, so we drank a pretty nice chianti classico.
We all had lodi, the Polish ice cream, for dessert.
We were initially seated next to a table of businessmen, with very little room between us. The maitre d' moved us to a table in the corner where we had more room and were a little more private.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
