I had the pleasure of attending one of the concerts held in the Chopin Salon here at the Boutique Bed & Breakfast (where I didn't stay by the way). It was a wonderful musical experience with greatly devoted artists. The setting, in a salon from 1910 and no more than 10 listeners, made it a nice, intimate and exclusice concert. The only backdraw was that they didn't perform any Chopin at all, as the advertisment says.

Thank you for your visit and review,
I'm so sorry that Chopin music was not offered this day. We are trying to present Chopin’s music very frequently, however not on a daily basis. To be sure about our repertoire please check our website www.chopin.waw.pl

An exceedingly nice B&B. Stylish furnishing, nice street. The owner and his family, incl. a piano virtuoso daughter, take their breakfast together with the guests and remind you what "intelligent conversation" stood for.

The Boutique B & B is so different from other tourist accommodations, it's really refreshing. Instead of the trendiest, coolest decor selected using the latest marketing data, it's got a feel that sends you back in time and creates an atmosphere of visiting family in Warsaw long ago.

It has an excellent location in the city center, about a 10-15-minute walk to old town. The rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned, homey way but high-tech card keys let you in the doors. The beds are very comfortable. Our room had a water boiler, if you like making your own coffee or tea in the a.m. or p.m., but a coffee machine in the dining room was available at any time and they showed us how to use it. The elevator is from long ago -- small and takes a little effort to operate if you are not used to this type of lift.
The best part of staying here is breakfast since you sit around a common table and get to know everyone else, many of whom are there for musical performances either at the B&B or elsewhere in Warsaw. The food is very nice, with meats, cheeses, breads, preserves, etc.
We parked our car on the street (paid parking) easily, a very short distance from the hotel.
The staff was very helpful but I wouldn't stay here if you need a concierge who can take care of every last need you have. This is not a hotel, it's an experience.

Staying at the BBB was the highlight of our stay in Poland. This is a highly rated RS recommended property and we were concerned that it couldn’t live up to the very high praise that it received there. We were not disappointed. The room was comfortable and clean, but simply appointed (there are only a few rooms). The rooms have no A/C, but a portable fan was available in the wardrobe (though a bit noisy). We also initially missed a room safe, but felt very comfortable with the hotel’s security. The highlights of the hotel, and the reason for it being so highly rated, are these: 1) The staff was very friendly and helpful, and routinely engaged us in conversation to assess our needs and interests; 2) the hotel’s location, at the bottom of the Nowy Swiat, was ideal and quiet, located close to the smart restaurants and shops, and away from the crowds of the Old Town (The Old Town is about a mile walk away, and we easily walked there and back, though buses run regularly); 3) the hotel has a salon with a grand piano, and the two nights we stayed there we purchased very affordable tickets to listen to a 75 minute concert given by outstanding musicians. (Plea: While the hotel offers steep discounts to the guests for these performances, we chose to pay full price since the money all goes to the musicians). The room only holds 10 people, and so it is a wonderfully intimate venue for listening to Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff while sipping wine; 4) the Polish fare breakfast was exceptional. Being from Madison, WI, we tend to be local-sourced food snobs, and the BBB breakfast would have a fierce, loyal following here. All the foods were sourced from regional organic farms (identified on a map at the table) and prepared by the BBB’s personal cook who makes sure the table buffet is always stocked. All the guest sit a one large communal table, and it is impossible not to introduce yourself to the other guests and strike up a conversation. The BBB creates a very unique experience that should not be missed.

Everything about the Boutique B&B could be described as the opposite of "standard": the pre-war building, the careful choice of furniture and interior decoration, the bountiful breakfast, ...
The staff, including owner/renaissance man/master conversationalist Jarek and in-house tour guide/artist/cyclist Monika is very friendly and attentive. The general atmosphere, as pointed out by other reviewers, is convivial and cosmopolitan.
The location, near the end of a (relatively) quiet street is as convenient as one could wish : virtually across the street from the National Museum and very close to Nowy Świat ( lively stretch of the "royal route", full of restaurants and shops ) and the Foksal bus stop.
The newest unique feature of the B&B are the chamber music concerts performed by talented young musicians in the small "Chopin Salon" , that Jarek decided to present nightly after acquiring a mighty grand piano.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the courtyard are quieter

We stayed 4 nights at this B&B and enjoyed every second of this time. The location is in walking distance to the old town with easy access to public transportation in the surounding. The best of this place is indeed the breakfast time with a gorgeous range of home made cakes and other delicious things. You enjoy your cup of coffee while chating to people all around the world. A small place with a unique cosmopolitan spirit and character. Our room was nicely furnished in old style matching the house in general so you can breath a bit of Warsaw history. We loved the city and it's open spaces and the B&B was a great starting point to explore the city treasures. The staff is very friendly and don't miss to chat with Monika knowing Warsaw like her pocket.
