Best bit for me is on the top floor it tells you about his travels across Europe. Needless to say I laughed out loud when I heard what he had to say about England and Scotland.

A very nice museum. Many interactive items to check out. Pretty much everything you could want to know about Chopin - from his parents, to his birth, his life, his death, and of course, his music - you can find here. The museum is somewhat small, but it's packed with information and museum pieces. A must for any Chopin fan, or of classical music in general.

This interactive museum wonderfully documents his life, from his youth in Poland, to his time in Paris. There are listening booths, when you can select works to hear, and a recreation of his last salon in Paris. One segment was devoted to his travels -- I hadn't realized all of the places he concertized!
For children, there is an engaging playroom, with touch screens, books, and cozy cubby holes to curl up and listen or read, or both. A fun touch are a set of moveable notes on the wall, that can be rearranged. Fun!

What an immersive experience. Lovers of Chopin’s music have plenty of opportunity to listen to recitals on line and projected to large screen in the recital hall. There is. Much information on his life, his patrons, his family and his lovers as well as sketches by him on of him, information on his travels and performances, handwritten scores, early publications, letters etc. The museum is set in a beautifully restored mansion, a real delight to wander around. Although there is a shop, there does not seem to be a cafe.

The best and most inspiring museum I have ever been to! It is meticulously designed and the staff is very helpful. There are different sections allocated for different types of music produced by Chopin and you can listen each and every composition of him individually while reading information about each. It is free of charge in one week day (I remember as Wednesday, but please check it through website information). You still get ticket for entrance but pay nothing!

WHat a wonderful end of day excperiene we had in this awsome, interactive, fun, intersting and best music of this greate composer, which contributed so much to history of music during his 39 years of living. he started play at 6 years of age and his first composition was at 7!
