“Perfect location, apartment style rooms...try it!”
Reviewed September 11, 2011

The prior review noted that the hotel was a great location and I could not agree more. Just a 1/2 block off Nowy Swiat, with great places to eat, shopping, clubs, and even the un-official American Embassy (aka Starbucks) within a stone's throw. (2-3 min walk at most in safe area)
The rooms are VERY spacious for Euro standards. My bathroom had both a large jacuzzi type tub and a stand up shower and very nice tile treatment. The full kitchen and living area was also nice. I agree with the prior reviewer that the smallish tube TV was in dire need of a 32in or better flat screen, but I will say they did have a DVD player in the room as well as a small stereo system/CD player. Nice touches!
The breakfast actually starts at 7am on weekdays, which was fine and is availabe in the very nice hotel rest. Also a great place for a dinner if you don't feel like going out.
Enjoyed my stay and would return on my next trip. Perfect if you're looking for some space and a great location in the "hip" part of town.

I chose this hotel as it was rated nr 1 on Tripadvisor at that time and because I wanted to try a small butique hotel. Location was also a factor as it is located near all of the main nightlife hot spots in Warsaw.
What disappointed me however was the lack of warmth and/or character. The lobby while modern and minimalistic seemed uninviting.
Rooms are nice but have seen better days.Need upgrading, touch-up and tube heavy 20' or so TV needs to be replaced with a nice flat screen.
I was dissapointed to find out that breakfast starts at 8 so if you have an early flight out there will not even be pastry or nice cup of coffee waiting for you as you depart.

Next time around it will be back to Hyatt, Intercontinental or Hilton which are all superb hotels in Warsaw.

Residence Diana is located in chic Chmielna Street amongst an abundance of restaurants and boutiques. This was the third Mamaison we stayed at, following apartments in Budapest and Prague. All have a similar very high standard of fitout, comfort and excellence in customer service. Residence Diana is no exception. Our apartment had a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave oven, cooktop, fridge and tea/coffee making, a desk for our laptop, separate bedroom with ensuite, a living room with sofas, TV/Hifi and coffee table and a dining table with chairs. The Carrefour supermarket was our source of supplies for breakfast and other meals and is a 10-minute walk away. Free internet via wireless or ethernet is provided in all rooms. Residence Diana, like other Mamaisons includes a laundry that's free to use for guests. The team can organise a limousine for airport transfers, which is a little more expensive but is a fixed price. That way, we avoid taxi drivers taking advantage of us. I can't speak highly enough of Mamaison and its group of residences/apartments. Highly recommended.

My sister and I spent 5 days at the hotel mid July. Excellent service from all staff start to finish. They helped organize a city tour for us, printed train schedules to help us with a day trip, local directions etc... The room we had (304) was very nice with a window on the courtyard. The little kitchenette and good size fridge allowed us to keep some groceries. Bathroom is really nice, and beds are super comfortable. The hotel location is great in a nice quiet courtyard but literally steps to Nowy Swiat and a short walk to the Stare Miasto. The other benefit is the Central train station is only about a 20 minute walk away in the other direction. Very good little bakery steps from the front door. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant one day and it was very nice. The outdoor patio and couches are comfortable and a great place to relax and have a drink. I really don't have anything critical to say about this hotel. Thank you!!! As a side note if you are staying in Warsaw long enough I recommend a day trip to Torun. It is a 3 hour train ride but Torun is a really neat place to visit. The medieval village has a great town square and restaurants. It is the birth place of Copernicus and home of gingerbread, there is a lot to see and it is all in a very compact area so you can walk everywhere when you arrive. We arrived at about 12:30pm and took the 7:05pm train back to Warsaw which seemed like enough time. The hotel staff said we were not the first ones to ask for help with the train schedules to Torun that week and I don't think they really knew why everyone was interested in Torun. My sister and I enjoy and break from the city and seeing the country side so were looking for something like that. It is not easy to find information on day trips outside of Warsaw but when I came across Torun it looked, and was, a nice break from the city.

Pro: Very large suite, very modern, new and clean
Laundry facility in hotel
TV had english channels
Friendly, helpful staff.
Discount for longer stays
Con: We thought the breakfast (not included) was overpriced, so we ate in a nearby coffee shop.
It is located about a 15 minute walk from the old town.

The hotel is located in an inner courtyard which means that finding the hotel is a bit tough when you drive even using a GPS. One must enter via a cobblestone street used by mostly pedestrians to reach the courtyard.
Once reached however parking is safe and convenient.
The staff is excellent and each room is a huge suite. You will find excellent beds and a wonderful shower/bath. Our room even had a second half bath.
As we left or returned a heavenly sweet smell wafted in the air. On our last morning we learned that the best Paczki in all of Warsaw were being made next to our hotel!!! Yes they truly are the best fill dougnuts I have ever eaten.
The city is young and vibrant and fun...and all within walking distance of this hotel.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the courtyard and was quiet.
