It took me two days to find Co Tu. That's sad because I would have gone back more than once to eat there if I'd had more time in Warsaw.
I ordered crispy fish in curry sauce with rice and salad. On a scale of 1 - 10, it was at least a 12! If I'd been able to go again, I might have ordered the same dish. It was that delicious.
I noticed that most people were ordering a bowl of soup. Only 5 zlotys. My dinner cost 15 zlotys, an amazing price. There was so much fish on the plate and a huge pile of rice. The fish was real - not like the dopey fish sticks I'd been served two days ago in Lublin. I can't say enough good things about this place.
But finding it is tricky. My guidebook gives the address as Hadlowo-Uslugowe 21, not Nowy Swiat as another reviewer mentioned. My guidebook tells you to go through the archway at Nowy Swiat 26. That probably works. I didn't have that information with me when I went searching. My way of getting there was to turn off Nowy Swiat onto Foksal and go through the first archway on the right side of Foksal. You will be staring at a huge blue graffiti wall painting. Walk to the left around the wall and you'll see the yellow Co Tu building. Foksal is just to the Old Town side of Al Jerozolimskie, the largest busy street in the area.
