Natalia' and Magda's quick responsiveness was tremendous! Overall, my total experience with Real Poland was excellent. They were helpful during setting up my tour plans, and also very helpful when we had to cancel. Natalia researched my grandfather and found lots of information about him that I did not know. I am satisfied with the work she did and I look forward to traveling to Poland in the future. I hope to visit the area where he was from and maybe meet some of my relatives.
Even though my trip has been postponed due to Covid, my experience with Real Poland has been wonderful. Magda was very responsive by both phone and email answering questions and coordinating our trip (there are 3 of us living in different parts of the US).
I also secured the services of Natalia to do some genealogical research. She found a great deal of information about my grandfather. When we do get to take our trip we hope to possibly connect with some of our relatives. At a minimum, we want to visit the community our grandfather is from and pay tribute to the graves of our ancestors.
Thank you, Real Poland Tours! I look forward to meeting you one day.
My father and I recently returned from our Ultimate Poland tour and we really cannot express how impressed we were with the RealPoland coordination, staff, accommodations, food, local guides and transportation. The itinerary was filled with visits to key historic and cultural sites along with some fun activities like making our own Polish pottery and a pierogi workshop - admittedly, my father and I still need to work on these skills. The accommodations were top class European standard hotels. Breakfast each day was provided in the hotels and dinners were pre-planned at various interesting restaurants in whichever city or town we happened to be staying. Lunch was on us, this may seem daunting but the tours are arranged so that a convenient lunch break happens in a square or Old Town area with an ample choice of cafes and restaurants. As for the Polish cuisine, don’t expect kielbasa and pierogis for every meal - they like to mix it up for you.
Our original intent for taking the tour was to learn more about our Polish heritage. We asked to add an extra day on the end so that we could visit my great grandparents village - the Real Poland staff took care of everything for us, an extended itinerary with hotel, transportation and a local guide.
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the beautiful county of Poland. It's clean, safe and very affordable. Additionally, the staff at RealPoland are amazing - especially all of the "Magdas". If you are considering a trip to Poland and are worried about getting around or finding the right tour I would highly recommend RealPoland they are first class.
Over three weeks in December 2019, my family from Singapore decided to visit Poland, a less common travel destination from where I come from. After reading how beautiful Poland can be, we decided to engage a travel agency. Without any knowledge of anyone in Poland, we looked at some of the Tripadvisor reviews of agencies and wrote to some agencies.
Real Poland was the first agency to get back with a prompt response. I liked their quick response. This gave us the confidence to continue the discussion, resulting in a wonderful trip to Krakow, Zakopane Mountains, Wroclaw, Warsaw and back.
Over many weeks ahead of the trip, we shared our itinerary with Consultant Magda Kilińska, who advised on what was open during winter, the travel time taken, and interesting places to visit enroute to our destination. As we were traveling through the country, she also made it a point to send reminders to us about the pick-up and drop-off points as well as the timing to meet the various guides. There was no point at any time during our trip that we wondered, what happens next. The travel execution was impeccable.
Further, all the guides were professional, spoke good English and were attentive to our needs. In short, I would say Real Poland lived up to its name. Highly recommended.
The entire tour was fabulous. From the time I made initial enquiries right through to being dropped off to my hotel at the end of the tour - I can't fault them.
The booking process and any queries I had were dealt with promptly and Magda G was only too happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble.
Travelling solo it was reassuring to be picked up at the airport, even though I arrived several days in advance, and equally as convenient to be dropped off at my hotel after the tour (even though it was out at the airport and nobody else was staying there!).
The tour itself was fabulous. A small group, which I thought was perfect. Every thing you read here about Magda K as a tour guide is true - she really is that great. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a terrific time.
I thought 16 days was perfect - I wanted to see as much of Poland as possible (and would have been happy for it to be even longer!). We had 2 mornings where we had to be on the bus by 7.30am, but the rest was far more leisurely and relaxing. A good mix of city tours and then time for yourself. All hotels were lovely and an excellent variety of food / restaurants for the group dinners.
All in all a terrific experience and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone keen to visit Poland.
I can’t say enough good things about Real Poland.
I just came back from my trip 2 weeks ago.
Poland is a beautiful country with quite an amazing history.
Things could not have gone smoother from beginning to end.
Our tour guide, Anna, was amazing & so knowledgeable. She was also kind, patient & considerate.
I also need to mention our driver who was wonderful.
I would highly recommend Real Poland. They truly have your best interests at heart & do everything possible to make you have a memorable, safe, fun, interesting trip.
