We found this place from the reviews on Trip Advisor and are so glad we did. What fabulous funky accommodation without being so OTT and uber-chic that you feel uncomfortable. The apartments are in a beautifully restored old building (at least it looks old but you never know because Warsaw was almost totally flattened in the war). The setting couldn't be better - you can walk almost anywhere from here and yet the street is quiet, one-way, leafy without much through traffic. That said, there are some great eateries and bars along the street - Tel Aviv and Beirut being particularly good (will review these separately).
back to the apartments - the welcome was perhaps a little lacking in friendliness but was pleasant enough. Both me and a friend who arrived the following day had luggage which did not arrive at the airport and the reception staff were really helpful in getting this sorted out.
The apartments are built around a wonderful sunny atrium. This means they are all light and area. We had a one-bedroom apartment on the top floor and our friend had a studio bedroom on another floor. Both were lovely - crisp, spacious, clean and individually decorated so no corporate or boring feel here. There were some fun artworks in both. The bathrooms were well equipped as was the rest of the apartment with free wifi, Nespresso machine, dressing gowns etc.
Price via Expedia was extremely good. We didn't have breakfast as we found this pricey and we wanted to try the places outside the apartments as these looked funky.
After H15 we went to Krakow for a few days (separate review for the wonderful Hotel Wentzl there) then back to Warsaw. For our second visit to Warsaw my work had booked me into the Marriott as I was attending a conference there. Never again as it is an awful place (reviewed separately). This further reinforced to me how wonderful the H15 is! Don't stay anywhere else if in this area
By the way - for the person who finds the toiletries too "manly" - this is a hotel which accommodates both men and women. It is difficult to get it right for both genders. I would suggest bringing your own if you have such strong preferences...
