Skamiejka has undergone some very positive changes - same address, same spirit, but now it's twice bigger! The owner, Mrs Tamara, will always make you feel very welcome, doesn't matter if you are a regular or just a walk-in looking for a cozy place to have a lunch or dinner. Go for solianka, Ukrainian borscht, pielmieni, warieniki, be careful with using too much home-made mustard (hot like Lucifer's breath in the morning, don't ask me how do I know it) and be charmed with the atmosphere of a small-town Russian restaurant. There is no other place like this in Warsaw and I keep coming back, despite living 1500 km away.
