“A meal to savor and remember!”
Reviewed October 3, 2012 via mobile

We had an evening tomremember tonight! The meal was excellent. We started with a Polish style bolete soup, flavors to enjoy. My husband the the scallops, cooked just right and delicious. His next course was one half duck, cooked to,perfection and served with roasted potatoes and red cabbage. I had never elated goose, so,had the goose leg, served with a mushroom sauce and dumplings. I enjoyed my goose and emptied my plate. Dessert was a chocolate ramekin baked and served very hot and gooey! We had a wonderful evening. The seating was very private and quiet. We were able to enjoy our meal and each other's company, and talk about future adventures. We have been impressed with the quality of food here in Warsaw!

“Classy place, interesting decor”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

We had lunch at AleGloria. We had to find a place which was open already at 11 and this place came recommended. The service was not particularly good but not hostile either. I ate goose confit, which was very tasty indeed. Coupled with a glass of Côtes du Rhone, this was an unsurprising dish but very satisfying. The restaurant is underground, brick walls and the decor was interesting, cleary someone had put some effort to make the place look like no other restaurant. There we pictures of celebrities who had been there so I assume it has some reputation among international celebs. We were the only guests (as it was before normal lunch hours) so it is hard to comment the ambiance.

“Limited menu”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Absolutely beautiful interiors. Professional waiting staff. Excellent cakes and pastries. Expensive coffees and teas. And the main restaurant - even when booked in advance - can run short of food and place strong limits of you and your guests' selections.

“Feast for the eyes...oh, and some food too.”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The place is absolutely beautiful and that alone warrants a recommendation to visit. We had a party of 14 people and were sat at table in a beautiful private room. The problem was that the service was very slow, and the waiters were hard to come by in spite of the fact that they seem to have many, while the restaurant was hardly full. The food was Ok but I promise that I will forget it in a day or two.

“Not as good as expected”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

I went there with high expectations, due to owners’ fame and publicity. It is not a Michelin star place but it is not bad. Interior is splendid, colorful and has been done with care of all the details. Then if comes to the food - it is a bit disappointing.
One could expect the food will be in a close correlation with quality of the interior – but it is not. It is a bit over average and there is a lot of room for improvement, especially in relation to it’s price.
