We had a really nice time walking through the park. It was a nice relaxing break from the city. The palace was disappointing after visiting other palaces in all their splendor but I know that the renovation is an ongoing project.

On a hot day the beautiful trees were welcome. Signposts to toilets and gates would have been helpful. On Thursdays admission to the Island Palace was free. Great!

This is a very large and nice park with lot of statues.
The park is kind of far from city center but if you have car it is only 4-5 miles away. Or you can use public transportation. The tickets for one way tram or bus is 4.40 PLN.
The palace on water is very nice.
It is good place for walking or for relaxing and having a picnic.

A wonderful park, well worth walking round to see all the lovely buildings. Go on a summer Sunday at either 12 noon or 4pm to hear a Chopin concert by the statue of Chopin (bus stops outside). Get there half an hour early for a good seat. Only really good, international pianists play, so it is a quality programme. The walk from town is worthwhile as it passes many notable buildings.

Nice parc for a walk.
Unfortunately it's rather far from the city centre, so if you're staying near the centre, you'll have to take public transport or get a public rental bike for almost no money.
In the summer there are free piano concerts at the Chopin monument.
