My husband and I stayed 3 nights the Polonia Palace at the end of October/start of November. The location was absolutely fine for us because we were visiting family nearby and had only one day to explore the city - it was a good walk to some of the sights.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband speaks Polish but they all spoke English so that I could understand as well. The check-in staff were friendly and welcoming and gave us all the information we needed.

The room was very spacious and had a great view of the Central station and the Palace of Culture and Science. We took a 'noisy' room over an interior 'quiet' room but we didn't notice that it was very noisy - but we were on the 5th floor. The room and bathroom were very clean and very comfortable. There was a good sized safe for our valuables, plenty of room for all of our luggage, etc. The heated floors in the bathroom are a lovely touch, as well as the daily chocolates and complimentary water/teas/coffees. There is also a mini-bar fridge, which we could also use to keep a few of our own drinks.

The breakfast was by far the most amazing hotel breakfast I've ever had. SO much selection and of really nice quality. Breads, local honey, meats, cheeses, hot food (sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, mushrooms), yoghurts, dried fruits, cereals, juices, teas (with individual teapots) - just so much. AND vodka and sparkling wine. It was incredible and very tasty.

We were given a complimentary drink voucher upon arrival which we used in the bar on our first night. We ended up visiting the bar every night - it was comfortable, had a great selection of drinks (cocktails and virgin cocktails, as well) and food, as well as lovely live music and sports on TV. The staff were friendly, the food was great, the drinks were good - it's a great atmosphere.

We also decided to have the Friday night Polish buffet - it was just as wonderful as breakfast. Many different salads, cheeses, a perogi station (meat, mushrooms and cabbage, cheese and my favourite, dessert perogies - blueberry with vanilla sauce!) where you could get your perogies boiled or fried, a few different meat/fish choices for your main, a selection of breads, and a wide range of desserts. We ordered a bottle of wine which was lovely and reasonably priced as well. The service was very good for dinner as well.

Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful stay - great staff, very comfortable, great bar, great food, good location. It was great value and we would definitely return!

Room Tip: We were on the 5th floor facing the street - it wasn't very noisy for us at all and we enjoyed t...

Due to work reasons I booked 2 night at Polonia Palace and this experience was really great. Check in very professional with a naturale attitude to smiling, room lighty and spacious, breakfast unforgettable with champagne and vodka for people who like them instead of cappuccino :) wifi included, welcome cocktail (free drink at the bar) and happy hours. I had a club sandwich as room service and it was good. I tried the sauna and the massage, sauna is free and massage was great at a reasonable price. I booked a business room so some upgradings could not be included in the standard room price. I suggested the hotel to some colleagues who left the intercontinental hotel and they had a good walk in price for a double single use. I am so happy when I can share with others hotels and reaurants who are really good!

Stayed for two nights in November for a city break with friends. Both couples were thrilled with this hotel - lovely reception, helpful staff, big rooms, very clean, nice bar and the best breakfast we've ever had!!!! It was a bit of a walk from the old town but tram and train was so close that you could use that instead. We paid £100 per couple and thought this was excellent value considering how luxurious the hotel was. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly!!!

Very good experience in this hotel. It is well located in the central business area, busy area but the hotel is calm and quiet. Well located and communicated, easily accessible and excellent base for visits to the city, business or pleasure.Impressive lobby. The room was large, well furnished with top quality furniture, well lit, good temperature control, good TV and minibar, safe included. Large bed very comfortable. The bath room was large and very clean, a pleasure for the eyes. Breakfast was good and abundant. To be noticed the availability of polish sprankly wine and wodka! Kind well trained staff. Only point for improvement, internet connection could be in the price. The hotel had a fitness centre that unfortunately I could not enjoy for lack of time.

Room Tip: The room was very good

The location was very convenient and the staff was exceptionally friendly.
The airport is just a quick taxi or bus ride away. (About 25 minutes)
The room was spacious, comfortable, fully stocked with most amenities and very clean.
One thing to keep in mind is that Internet cost an additional twenty or so Euros p/day. There were coffee shops around town with wifi, if needed.

This is an ideal hotel for a visit to Warsaw as it's right in the centre of town - a mixture of modern cleanliness and old world charm. Staff were very friendly and helpful, buffet style breakfast choice was excellent - dinners a bit expensive. Generally good value - the beds were a bit hard and the duvet only just covered the bed - had to get out a blanket or I would have had no covers!! Other than that the room was spacious and comfortable. As it's so close to the centre of town, there's plenty fo choice round about for meals at a reasonable price and it's convenient for trams and metro. You need to be aware of traffic problems in Warsaw - we tried to travel on 1st November and missed our plane so check out local holidays as the centre is total gridlock on these days! I think the hotel staff could have warned us but nothing was said.

Room Tip: The road at the front is very busy so rooms at the back are quieter but don't have the view.
