“Reasonably priced, comfortable alternative to a chain”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2012

Good location in the center, across from the Palace of Culture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Culture_and_Science,_Warsaw) and just up from the central train station. I paid in the neighborhood of $75 @ night with a pre-booking that included a weeknight as well as weekend, which appears to be lower than their advertised weekend-only rates. So call them on SKYPE and see what you can bargain. Cable connection as opposed to wireless in the rooms (though note other comments here re second floor rooms within wireless range). Flexible, helpful staff (I needed 20 pages printed and they offered to do so with an email to the desk rather than waiting in line at the limited business center). What looks like an interesting Italian restaurant immediately across the little side street by the hotel (I showed up just at closing time so didn't get to sample). And if Mr. Stalin's Palace of Culture doesn't match your taste, just walk up the street to the right from the hotel, cross under the busy intersection and treat yourself to a Starbucks, Polish-style.

The only hotel that didn't get bombed in the second world war, this hotel is expensive but pure luxury,it does an amazing champagne breakfast, don't use the lifts because you'll miss using the beautiful marbel stairs.
Very clean bathroom and bedroom with a well stocked fridge in your room.
The hotel is in a fanastic location and it's not too far from the airport,

A classic building situated at the main square of Warsaw, just in front of the city´s main landmark Palace of Culture and Science, Polonia Palace was completely overhauled, with everything from the reception hall to the rooms looking anew.
Modern and functional rooms with the necessary amenities.
The staff was very polite with exception of one person.
T.V. with very limited choice of channels.
Breakfast at an astounding price of 18€ per person.

Not very expensive, yet kind of fancy and in a great location. I'd highly recommend the bar Bojangles :)

The main disadvantage - the air-conditioning is not individually programmed.

Room Tip: If you prefer silence: ask for a room with windows facing Poznańska st., if you want an AWESOME view...

I only stayed for one night and had quite a busy schedule, but from the amount of time I spent there, I really liked the hotel. The location couldn't be better, the decor in the lobby is right up my street, the atmosphere in the lounge bar is relaxing, and the rooms are comfortable and big enough. Staff was extremely helpful and polite and I liked the fact that its not just another chain good quality hotel that looks like hundreds of others. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend. Our room was not cleaned after the first night. We brought this to the attention of the receptionist and supervisor in total 3 times and it was still not done properly. They never made the bed or gave us new towels. It was so dissappointing as we expected a relaxing break and spent so long trying to get the simplest of things (room cleaning) sorted out. This was definetily a waste of money and I will not be returning.
