I'm a baffled by some of the reviews of the hotel as I had a good experience here. This is a centrally located tourist hotel that is good value for money.
My room - including the ensuite bathroom - was clean and tidy and vacuumed on a daily basis. The decor is neutral and non-offensive, towels were spotless. Breakfast buffet choices were wide-ranging, covering hot/cold/vegetarian options extensively, so much so that guests were walking away with small mountains of food on their plates.
Staff were polite, friendly and accommodating; the last minute changes to my booking were hassle free, and when I couldn't find an internet cafe I was able to use a staff computer to complete online check-in.
The hotel is centrally located making all of central Warsaw within walking distance, which was good for late evenings out.
If you're looking for a 5 star experience best to go to the Bristol, but if you want a good all round centrally located tourist hotel at a reasonable price, this ticks all the boxes.

Room Tip: They have rooms for smokers and non-smokers so pick one that suits.

We were on a 3-week tour of Central Europe with Adventures Abroad. To say that the hotel was as bad as the hotel in Berat, Albania, says it all. The hotel was the worst one of the tour. One's expectations are lowered when in Eastern Europe. Having said that, the hotels in Krakow, Budapest, etc., were fine to excellent. The mattresses were so bad that it was impossible to find a comfortable position. The rugs were filthy. The room was barren and ugly. It was a 2 star hotel that caters to tour groups. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Having a responsive staff who speaks English hardly compensates for the hotel's inadequacies.

Room Tip: Stay elsewhere

I made last minute reservation this this combination hotel+flight for price, free breakfast and very good location. Hotel looked like somen has been decorated it with bad taste. Thank god there was only shower, no tube bath, room was quite spacy, hot and quite quiet. MATTRESS WAS VERY HARD FOR MY BACK.
Breakfast was very tasty, this is one of my criteria to choose hotel in Poland(breakfast is not including generally). Interesting old town was nearby, hotel is in centrum, lot of beautiful cafees ,restaurants. Staff was friendly (litlle bit lazy), but sometimes there was only one person to serving customers on reception, reception is the heart of hotel and customers make notes staff serve guests.
Best regards that Polish gentleman who helped me at the Airport of Warsaw saturday evening.
I do not choose this hotel anymore for hard matress.

Room Tip: Lot of happenings and conferences in this hotel, try to choose room far away from restaurant.

I have stayed 3 nights in this hotel. It has good position in city center.
Receptionists are polite and english speaking. Room was quite ok, bathrooms clean.

I didnt like the very slow and failing - the longest uninterrupted internet session took 10 minutes!
So its useless.

Breakfest buffet consist of dried off peppers, cucumbers, müsli , baked goods from previous days,
cheap chemical juice,....

Next time i will stay rather in a hostel than this.

Interesting a bit soviet atmosphere. Very helpful and polite staff. The cleaning-lady came even at afternoon ask if we need new towels (in the morning we didn't). Bartender can even let you smoke in 'playroom' near bar! The room was ok, the strange odeur in rooms could easilly get rid of by ovening the window. They have room for smokers - great! The polish restaurant is also nice and the hotel is situated near everything. Security was good: cameras, 24/7 reception and guard also 24/7.
We liked this hotel very much. But remember: if you smile, everybody smiles back!

Room Tip: Smokers rooms are situated in first floor, which is practically 2nd fl.

Visited this hotel twice. Rooms, while renovated after drop down of communism, still have some "atmosphere" of that time. Rooms are clean but rather small, equipped with furnitures that used to be modern some 30 years ago, carpets too. Beds are clean but not extremely comfortable - double beds are made of two single ones. Bathrooms, while kept clean, also are already a little bit devastated. In my opinion one of the reasons is big number of tourist groups, also composed of school children. It means that at 7 am you are waked up by shouts and children running up on corridors. The hotel has a lot of rooms so be prepared for waiting at reception desk - anyway, the desk crew was helpful.
