Stayed for family trip over Easter (April 2014)

Location: Excellent central location. Across the street from the Palace of Culture/science so a great landmark if you ever get lost!

Good access to public transport such as airport bus 175 (get off a stop Centrum- be sure to purchase your ticket at the airport first and not on the bus and validate ticket on the yellow machine on the bus after boarding) and the hotel is pretty much in front of you.

It is not a long walk into the Old Town and Royal Castle and close proximity to action- you can see the shopping centre and railway station from the hotel window (on a high floor)

Room: Stayed on Floor 14. Quiet and clean. Coffee/tea making facilities available which is great :) . (Surprisingly not all European hotels have this!!!)

Hotel facilities: Hotel also has a gym on the top floor (I think it was the 30th floor) which had nice views. There might have been a sauna too but we didn't use it.

Staff: Efficient. They could smile more but I guess I wouldn't be overjoyed at working over a public holiday such as Easter! Michael checked us in and was very kind in giving us a highish floor at floor 14 of a twin room (many thanks!)

Food: Good breakfast. Can get busy at times. Pleasant breakfast waiting staff. Restaurant served reasonable food- prices can be higher than quite a few of the restaurants in the city but our options were limited as lots of places were shut over Easter.

Price: Very good price for a centrally located four star hotel.

Would recommend this hotel for a leisure/business trip and will definitely consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Try to ask for a high floor room!

Friendly staff, good service, nice room, great view (from 26th floor), handy location, excellent breakfast bar, free wi-fi ... Nothing to complain about at all.

Lovely treat: the Nespresso machines in rooms (apparently up from 20th floor only so far).

On one night, I found a small plate of complimentary chocolates in my room. Nice touch!

Room Tip: Ask to be up from level 20 to enjoy the views and Nespresso machines. ;)

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst at a Conference. Pretty well situated - as the name suggests, more or less opposite the so-called "Palace of Culture". This is not a tourist hotel as it is several miles form the old town, but as Conference hotels go, it is acceptable. The food and bar are as expected - catering for the masses. The rooms are clean and comfortable - actually the bed was excellent. Free WiFi. What more would you want.

Don't get sting at the airport for a taxi. Only use the ones on the rank. I was in a hurry and was 'accosted' by a guy close to arrivals, who asked if I wanted a taxi. I should have known better but was in a real hurray. Cost me 3x the normal price.

Room Tip: The views are pretty crap and ex-communist, but ask for a room facing the palace of culture. You at...

This 4 star hotel is a good located and convinient place. The breakfasts are delicious. I had a standard twin room on 7th floor with beautiful view for a centre of Warsaw. I can recommend it both for tourists and business guests.

I love architecture, so the fact we had lovely view of the cityscape from our room on the 23rd floor was wonderful. The hotel is undergoing the Novotel refresh, so rooms will be brighter and more modern in the near future. We were here at Easter time, which gave us a bit of a challenge for restaurant and museum opening times. The staff were very professional and helpful in figuring out what was open and when. The breakfast buffet was very good. We ate here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. These meals were excellent with very good service. We mostly walked from the hotel, but we also took the tram which is located at the base of the hotel.

I stayed two nights in the hotel and everything was fine! Typical business hotel where nobody cares too much of you, but for that price and for the big and super clean room was more than ok. Two points to focus: 1) we really appreciate the housekeeper Who offered us couple of bottles of water when we was leaving the room, thanks a lot was so kind of you. 2) receptionist Who checked out us was rude and not really nice.
