My reason for visiting Warsaw for the second time was to attend a concert at the Sala Kongresowa so it was imperative that my chosen accomodation was within walking distance of the venue and also, close enough to the Central Railway station for an early train to Berlin the morning after.

The Novotel ticked both boxes and previous reviews concerning how you can see this grand, neon blue lit building from anywhere within a nearby radius are completely accurate. We stepped out of the train station after a long day of delayed flights and replacement trains, looked up to the heavens and there was our hotel - we'd never been more relieved to see a Novotel in all of our lives! A simple 5 minute walk from the station.

We were a bit thick and didn't realise you needed to use the subway to cross the road. Instead, we tried racing across the road with our luggage and got beeped at by the local police (it was only later that we realised that jaywalking can result in a fine in Warsaw so there's a tip for you - we had a lucky escape it seems ;) !!)

Upon arrival, the reception was very grand, sleek and modern and the staff are well-presented and courteous. Everything was explained politely and clearly, we were given free wi-fi vouchers and offered guide books and maps of the city which we gladly accepted. Wonderful start!

Our room was up high with a glorious view of the city (we could actually see the Sala Kongresowa from our window!) and it was a joy to gaze out of the window with a bottle of Polish vodka and feel very lucky to be where we were!

The room was clean, spacious and modern with a cosy bed and a powerful shower and that was all we needed! We had 2 nights of completely undisturbed sleep.

There are countless bars and restaurants of numerous cuisines in the immediate vicinity so we never had to travel far to get what we needed.

Warsaw is a fantastic city and everything is so cheap. We absolutely can't wait to return (and hopefully see a bit more of the Old Town next time!)

I stayed at Novotel Centrum Warsaw 30th October for2 nights, the hotel was excellent location as right in centre and a few minutes walk from Train station.
the hotel is lovely and checked in reall quickly. got a room on 10th floor which overlooked the city great view!
the rooms where clean, tidy and comfortable. there was tea making facilities and hirdryer in bathroom.
i had not issues while staying at hotel and also on checkin i was give a map of city and what tours there is to do.

on checking out i paid amount that it cost to stay but returning to the uk i checked my account and there was 2 amount taken and tis was for the hotel. when i checked in i was advsied hey would hold my card details until check out, then i paid amount on leaving. but they had pre-authorised an amount on my card with notifying me and thiswas 200 PLN over the amount it was costing me to stay. i have now been home for 5 days and thi amounthas still not been credited o my account.
the email adress on website for the hotel was not recognied and i had to call the hotel in Poland. this was not a very good experience as the person i spoke to was very rude! i am not taking this matte further as not getting correspondance from the hotel.

my expereicne in warsaw and staying at this hotel wa very nice but has now out me of staying at a Novotel Hotel in future.

Room Tip: ask for a room on a hig floor facing out to the city!

This monstrously large hotel is well located, and has rooms of an acceptable standard . However the secret of its cheapish prices was revealed when I started getting anonymous phone calls at 1:30 a.m., beating on the room door at 3 a.m., and had to listen to adolescents, apparently training for the Brazil Olympics by running up and down the hall, at 4 a.m.

To fill the hotel, management book huge groups of people - so if you are a guest who values silence at night, think twice before booking Novotel.

Best Novotel I have stayed in. Staff very helpful. Rooms modern, clean and bed comfortable.
Best thing about this hotel is that you can see it from pretty much anywhere in the city so you can always find your way back if you are lost!!
I would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Warsaw.
Only annoying thing was the Wifi as had to keep getting new vouchers for it- however not too much of a hassle and that was the only negative.
Breakfast was also fabulous.
Top location.

it is what you expect for a weekend break in warsaw centraly located( you can easily walk but if you bored all the buses and trams pass from there) the room that we were at the 17th floor amazing view and new furniture and bathroom overall a very pleasant experience would definetely go back if i found the same price that i found (120 pounds for 3 nights).
