We were so pleasantly surprised because the outside and also the lifts were really OLD looking but the room was incredible. So comfortable, clean, spacious and renovated - with great heavy curtains that could be closed properly to keep the light out!
Breakfast was decent and the location although is a little far to walk into the Old Town is really only 5 tram stops away - very easy to get around.
They also provide complimentary bottled water which we found has not been consistent across the Radissons.
Our only criticism about this hotel was that we had put on our door "Do Not Disturb" when we ducked out for a little bit and when we came back, housekeeping had been through. We were a little disappointed with that.
But overall, a really lovely place to stay!

Dear wisemonkeysabroad

I know what you mean the facade and the lifts are still to be refurbished and that makes you wonder sometimes, but I am very happy you enjoyed your stay.

well stayed with my son 2 nights, we had a suite with bedroom ( 616) and if you like ikea furniture its ok room, they have waterboiler in room but no cups?In morning we asked ( mariusz) to times that they should clean the room but nothing happened so we asked the reception that clean the room, then we waited over one hour and when we went to room nothing had been done, so the client has to do everything the personal dont follow up orders and it was very hot so not nice to wait, so Karolina K next time look that they really do something, the breakfast was great , the Fitness room could also do a facelift , but location ok and the Kantor office opposite the street gives good value.

Room Tip: room 616 if you like Ikea;)

Highly recommended hotel which provide you the mix of wellness, business atmosphere and sightseeing! We booked Business room and enjoyed high-speed internet for free, large and very comfortable room on the sixth floor, bathrobes+slippers, kettle and coffee-maker. The hotel provide spotless, high standard service everywhere: on reception, in a restaurant, room service and SPA center. A propos, there is nice Sauna, Jacuzzi and Gym in the SPA center. You can also arrange professional massage. Change office is on the ground floor. Central Railway station and "Golden Terrace" shopping center are in 15 minutes walk, Old Town is at about half hour of walk. Bus and Tramway stations are just aside the hotel! By the way, bus no. 175 to the Airport stop is just 20 meters from the entrance.
The Breakfast is rich and tasty, totally fits the expectation of 5-stars hotel. We have not any complaints, but it should be noted, that standard room is much more modest then business room we used, it is smaller and less comfortable. Also, it may be noisy on the lower floors. The hotel is soundproof, but isn't help against ambulance and police sirens.

Room Tip: I mentioned that it was quiet in the hotel, but still, if you wan't hear even faint noises (mainly of ambulance\police) once a few hours - take the business room, or at least as higher floor as possible. Except some rare sirens you don't hear nothing - hotel is really soundproof!!! You see a very loaded track outside the window but don't hear nothing, what a miracle :)

I have ended up in this hotel for on night on accident. I was supposed to stay in radisson Blue Centrum (much better btw) but they overbooked their rooms and I was moved to Sobieski. The hotel is ok, no major complains, but it simply is very average. it is bit old school in terms of design, my room was clean but bit outdated, the TV didn't really work properly, the bathroom didn't have a bathtub - only shower. Wifi worked well, breakfast was very good.

Unlike other reviews mentioned, I did not consider the location good at all. It it near to the city center, true, but it is not in the city center (different district). It is situated on a corner of two huge intersections with overpasses right next to it, which makes the hotel feel isolated and far from main attractions. No nice restaurants or shops near by. the bottom line is that for a similar price you can find a nicer hotel in a much better location.
