I stayed here for 3 nights with my Mum for a city break in Warsaw.
First impressions were our room was very spacious, and clean, with a huge bathroom. Beautiful reception lounge area, with lots of seating and very relaxed. The breakfast was very good, especially liked being able to have a fresh omelette. There was lots of choice on offer!
We booked this hotel as it had spa facilities, however we were disappointed to find that this was spoiled by use of the swimming pool by other families. On our first day 5 children were in the pool with one parent- splashing, screaming, diving. There was clearly a no diving sign but no-one there to reinforce this rule. On our second day the pool was being used by 2 children, they were jumping in front of us as we tried to do lengths, throwing floats, diving and bombing into the pool, screaming ans shouting. Not a very relaxing environment for a wellness centre. We raised this with staff who asked if we had spoken to the parents- it is not our place to reinforce rules of the hotel. It was disappointing that staff were not there to uphold and maintain the relaxing environment of a wellness centre and ensure rules are being followed- especially at a 5 star establishment.
Finally the rooms are very poorly soundproofed and meant we didn't have the best nights sleep, we were woken at 4.30am by a lady talking extremely loudly for at least 2 hours ! Not what you expect for a 5 star hotel
All in all it was a lovely stay, however it was let down slightly by those complaints listed.
