“Great hotel, beautiful rooms, awesome food”
Reviewed October 3, 2011

This hotel is located near the beautiful park of Lazienkowski but far from the city center. You can take buses 116 or 195 to Nowy Swiat and it takes around 5-10mins to get there.

Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and service is very good. Beds are great, I slept like babies. Breakfast is extraordinarily good. I had a cheeseburger once and it was as tasty as we have in Texas.

The only problem I had was the European meeting that was held last week. There were lots of ministers and presidents involved and one can imagine the security and police sorrounded the hotel. It was so bad. Police sirens are too frequent and loud (those VIPs don't like cruising silent I suppose). you had to get into security machines to get to your room as if you are entering an airport. So, if there happens to be such meeting, I would advice looking elsewhere. Other than that, it is a great hotel.

Real 5 star. Big rooms, excellent bathroom with big window, bathtube and walk in shower. Very good breakfast.

Stayed here for 1 night. Usual excellent Hyatt standards, staff very helpfull & all spoke excellent English. My room was a larger-than-usual "standard" room and was very clean and well decorated. The highlight was the bathroom (5 stars), - definitely the best standard-room bathroom I've experienced. I could have stood under the walk-in rainfall shower all day and the large, deep bath was also good.

For the tourist, you might find this hotel a bit too distant from the centre of Warsaw - about 20 minutes in a taxi from the old town, but for the corporate traveller probably not too much of a problem as it is a shorter trip to/from the airport. I will definitely use the hotel again for corporate travel.

As a city, Warsaw improves with every visit. Better roads, cafe-culture spreading with pavement cafe's, bars and coffee shops growing all the time. So much more relaxed than in the early '90's and the the (rebuilt) old town looked as lovely as usual.

The Poles are preparing for the Euro 2012 football tournament and, if the fans behave, they will find a lovely, friendly city awaiting them.

This hotel is very well run! The service and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. Rooms and bathrooms are large, clean and well appointed. Internet included in the business rate was a plus which includes cable and wifi for more than 1 device. Lots of TV channels in many different languages should satisfy any guest. I was here for a week on business and felt very at home and satisfied. The breakfast selection of buffet and ordered items was vast and good quality...once again the service here was very personal and top level. The foyer bar is well...a foyer with a bar and lacks charm and is situated in the entrance of the hotel....I feel the hotel seriously needs a separate hotel bar with some character to escape the foyer feel. There is a beautiful park right next door to the hotel for walks and runs. The hotel location is probably the only point where one could come up short if you are there on holiday...it is not in the center of the city where one can walk out of the hotel and be in the old town after a few blocks. But it is only about a 15 min cab ride from the center. Fact is...there are many hotels in the center of town in a great location ...which is great BUT which are full of tourists and do not care who you are or what you want and service is average at best..been there done that! If I am in Warsaw on business where I need a nice clean room, internet, good breakfast and great service at a reasonable price I will take the Hyatt any day.

Room Tip: Rooms facing outwards to the back or sides are better. request a higher floor.

One expects very little from hotels in Europe, service, food, room amenities are usually reluctantly offered by management and staff alike. My stay at Hyatt in Warsaw has been a huge surprise. Hotel is well located in a quite area but easily approachable. Staff is courteous and goes out of the way to meet your needs, unheard/unseen in most European hotels. Big surprise is the breakfast at Venti tre restaurant...great spread and good choice. Rooms are well lit and spacious. Do ask for the rooms with a view of the main road, inside wing does not have any view. On the negative...why do they have to charge for internet?? they dont do that for water or electricity or airconditioning.

Room Tip: Prefer rooms on the outside wing, there is no view on the inside wing of what is a traingular arrang...

Hyatt Regency - the name itself carries big expectations. I can pleasantly say they all were fulfilled. I was there during February 2010 for a week. Rooms are very spacious, interiors are designed painstakingly and every small requirement has been taken care of. There are coffee makers and tea makers in the room itself. Housekeeping staff would come twice a day. The whole staff is very courteous and extremely helpful. Breakfast was included in the room rate itself. Overall, I would say am very satisfied. Keep up the good work.
