We thought that this place was beautiful. There is a lovely, peaceful lake and the buildings are beautiful.
Tickets to the Palace are "timed" so that the number of people touring inside at any one time, is kept to a reasonable size. Do both. Go early on a nice day.
The Palace is truly wonderful, the tour takes about an hour. The grounds are also beautiful, some formal gardens, some wooded walks, and little stylized buildings in various places on the grounds. Also you can have a coffee and eat something at restaurant near the palace.
We went there by car, it is about 30 minutes from the Old Town of Warsaw.
The palace it's a must visit if you are in Warsaw.

Warsaw is an interesting city to visit for, say, 2-3 days. The best part is the old town which was 90% diestroyed during WWII but rebuilt and kept as close as possible to the original. Lots of shopping malls, restaurants and places to see (Jewish Museum, for example).

Labirith of light is amazing! It's so beautiful that I felt myself like in A Fairytale. I think, in the winter it will be better, but now it's wonderland too!!!I was there twice

We took Bus #180 to the Palace and spent the day roaming through the vast property. There are English signs and an audioguide. It was worth the trip.

First visit was to see the gardens brought to light just after Christmas, in fact we where one of the last to visit before the gardens were given back to nature and all the Christmas lights were packed away.

We came back the following day to look around the Palace - which is an unusual place by western standards, yet packed full of fantastic artwork.
