“Palace on the water”

Beautiful venue, garden and boating lake. This is a must to visit. Very much like a smaller Kensington palace with peacocks!

“Don't bother. Just enjoy the park”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014

The palaces in Lazienki Park need someone in charge who has some management skills. As I entered the park I saw several small buildings that had signs outside saying "get tickets in the western pavilion of the palace." Which palace were they talking about? There are no signs inside the park and it is huge with many different paths. Finally with continual asking of local people I found where the ticket office was. The women behind the desk suggested I buy a ticket for 20 zloty which would give me entrance to all the museums. What they didn't tell me was that some of the museums were closed and others only put some lights on when I entered. I was often the only person inside. They also never mentioned that part of the Lazienki palace was closed due to renovation. Each of the museums have different opening times, but the women in the ticket office couldn't tell me what they were. Enjoy the park, but give the palaces and museums a miss. Terrible organization.

“Below expectation...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2014

The park undoubtedly is beautiful.. however if you only have to speak about the Castle unfortunately it wasn’t up to the expectations…. To be honest we were right in front of the palace and still trying to figure out where the Place could be. If it’s a castle it definitely needs some maintenance.

In and around is just too good but Castle... NO!!!

“Beautiful, peaceful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2014 via mobile

Wandered through gardens surrounding the palace, very beautiful. The gardens were full of Polish people enjoying a day out as well. Not just enjoyed by tourists! We did not go into the Palace but I believe there is a charge to do so.

beautiful Palace on the Water, with nice surroundings - park, water, Chopin monument, very relaxing place, calm but still close to the croudy city center.
