I had read some reviews that there were interesting restaurants and things to do at the "Palace". Sadly, unless you're up for a cafeteria experience and some dreary stores there's little here to see and do (of course, there could be some interesting shows in the theatres). We never made it up to the observation deck due to a very long line - that may have save the day from what was otherwise a waste of time.

Lovely building but hard to find the enterance. Try and go during a quiet period. Views are amazing. Lift up was quite claustrophobic but very quick. Inexpensive and quick thing to do

This is the building that Poles love to hate. It is ugly beyond belief but is actually a wonderful venue for events of all kinds. It really is a hoot to go to a rock concert (e.g. King Crimson a few years back) in a venue that was designed for Party congresses (red predominates and the seat backs have pull-down desk tops built in for the apparatchiks to take copious notes). The 35th floor observation deck has the best views of Warsaw and a funky tea room that has not changed mus wince the 1950s and of course people will tel you that it is the best view of the city because you cannot see the Palace from the Palace.

I had planned to visit but took me a while to spot the entrance! The queue when i arrived was really long, so i used the wifi at Nero coffee shop to purchase tickets online, much quicker! Once you get through, past the cloakroom, to the lifts there was no one waiting. The lifts are manned and you cant explore the rest of the office building as its one stop.
At the top there is lots more space than i remembered. A shop for souvenirs, a cafe, deckchairs to chill (but too low to sit and enjoy the view), and various telescopes to get a closer view.
It really does give you a great view of the whole city and beyong, with information boards so you know what you are looking at.
A great way to get to grips with the layout!

Must see when in Warsaw. Some people might hate some might love the building. But without a doubt, it is the most iconic building in the capital. For 20PLN you can go to the view terrace and enjoy the views of Warsaw from every angle.
There is also a well equipped souvenir shop.

But there is so much more to see in the whole palace.
