A must-go if you visit Warsaw. You can book a tour in the Palace, where you can visit some rooms that are closed to the public, but very important historically.

I have read many reviews and had conversations with some local people about this building and can understand why some Polish people would like it to be demolished given the history between the Soviet Union and Poland, especially as it was a gift from Stalin. It is absolutely mammoth and sprawling and looks quite impressive from a distance especially at night however it is in not too good a physical state when you see it from close.

Probably the most famous building in Warsaw, it's one of the last vestiges of Stalinist architecture to be seen. There's a lift, for a fee, to the top for great views of the city. The best views to be had of this building are from the parking lot and the bar at the top of the Marriott across the street. If you're a Cold War history buff, it's a great stop and the building is impressive in both size and detail.

It is the most known Warsaw building, maybe even in Poland. It's Soviet but it has a lot of charm. Located in city center close to main Railway Station.

I don't know why the people of Warsaw hate this building but we found it very interesting and we missed our bus to the Moldin airport as many coaches and buses leave from outside this building so we had nearly 2 hours to explore the building and get inside away from the cold. Many different things to explore if we had more time and they even gave us hot mulled wine a a polish type of hotdog upon entering the building for only 5 zloty... Well worth a visit when in Warsaw.
