if you dont want to! the palace is a gorgeous structure in central warsaw that was built decades ago by the russians. boycotted by the older generation for being built by the occupation, pałac kultury remains undeniably (architecturally) a stunning building/palace. you cannot miss it!

“Excellent views from the top”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

Excellent attraction not to be missed. You will get a feel of a building from the communist era in Poland. The views from the top are breathtaking. A must see when visiting Warsaw!

“Great city views”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

Imposing central landmark, "presented" to the Poles by Stalin and mirrored in other East European cities once under Russian influence.
Just across the road from the central station it is imposing and looks in need of a good clean down, we took the lift to the 30 th floor viewing area which gives great views over the whole city.
There is a charge to enjoy the facility but it helps give an initial impression of the city, both old and new.

“imposing behemoth relic”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

The general Polish consensus on Palac Kultury i Nauki is "thumbs down!" But, I give it "thumbs up!" Let my photos persuade you - and I've got more, and better ones. (Too bad tripadvisor limits the number of photos per review.) I was outside exploring the perimeter, looking for interesting angles and composition an entire afternoon. Beauty is in the eye of the photographer!
I was too broke to pay the 18zl to get to the viewing terrace on the 30th floor for the panoramic. I went to their web-site and did the 360 degrees virtual tour instead. I'm content.
