“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

In a city such as Warsaw, with so much interesting and important history surrounding it, this is a must-see. Well-preserved former headquarters of the Gestapo, complete with original cells and examples of how the Nazi regime controlled their population and interrogated their opponents. Simple, yet effective displays telling the story or the Gestapo's purpose. It's difficult to choose appropriate words to describe a venue such as this. A memorable, important visit, which I'm glad we made.

“Don't miss this one”
Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

On our way to the memorial we randomly met two guys reenacting the occupation dressed as Gestapo officers. The  "escorted" us to he memorial - so the mood was set even before we entered. The memorial is a unique little spot showing the horrors of the nazi regime towards the poles. If you are interested in WW2 don't miss this one.

“Small”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

The museum is very small, there is like 5 rooms to look at. But, take 20 minutes out of your life and it is worth it.

“It is as being there! Scary but Interesting!”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Next to Lazienki Park. It is worthy visiting this Museum (within the Ministry of Education). Original location of the Gestapo HQ.
They recreate the atmosphere in the place during WWII, by means of background sounds such as soldiers talking or prisoners mourning, as if you were there at the time.
