“A must see in Warsaw”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

The eeriness and coldness of this underground building will give you chills. It is not for the faint of heart; however, it allows one to truly grasp the horror and severity of the Gestapo. A must see for anyone traveling through Warsaw. It takes about 30 minutes to go through but the sights and sounds really tell the story of so many. Much of the furniture, interior, and lighting is all original which only adds to the story that they are trying to tell. Everything is in Polish and English so it's quite easy to understand. I do not recommend this for younger children.

Worth to see, necessary to remember it is message. I like that kind of museum where you do not need to read a lot, but to walk and stare.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

Its one of those places you are glad you visited, but you would never return because of its history and cold eeryness. The musueum is the original interrogation centre at the Gestapo HQ in Warsaw, ironically now the Education Ministry. The cells are exactly as they were left, including bullet damage to the walls. Had me thinking quite sometime after I left
