There are 2 original paintings by Rembrandt in the entrance of palace💯

According to the guides, the Cronos- Atlas clock🌏stopped at the hour of the first bombing of the Royal Castle by the Nazis in September 1939 (11:15)

The castle is amazing, a major achievement of the nation after the destruction of Warsaw by Germans in 1945. However, the way it is currently operated is that hundreds of people are gathering outside the entrance, without any guidance how to get in, just getting communally upset at each other.
I think in one of the country's main attractions, Poland can do better than that. There should be a separate entrance for school groups, separate for individual tourists, there even could be a sign in English somewhere.

I did the royal route today with the headphones. It was all pretty cool and somewhat interesting but alot of information to take it. Well I enjoyed 1.5 hours in there for 40 zloty.

Visited here last week and was stunned by the grandeur of the interior – more like a palace than a castle. I was very lucky in that entrance to the castle was free throughout November so I did not have to pay for the tour (which is self-guided) Although there was an option to purchase an extra audio tour (which I did not bother with as I was a little limed for time). There was a slight wait upon arrival as they were limiting numbers (there were several groups of school children, but I'm wondering whether this was due to the fact that entrance was free this month) but I was very soon inside. There is a cloakroom at the start and then you simply follow the route around the castle taking in the many gorgeous and opulent rooms adorned with beautiful paintings and artefacts. There was also an orchestra playing. You can also walk around the gardens outside. I would allow a good hour here at least.

Dear Sellest,
Thank you so much for your visit and this lovely review. In November, we had some limitations due to the Covid restrictions. You should come back and see the gardens in full bloom. 🌹
Thank you one more time,
All the best, and we look forward to seeing you again.
