Very interesting tour, beautiful rooms and art - especially Canaletto paintings of Warsaw. It's a pleasure to see the castle in such a state, given its history. The ticket prices are a bit high though.
A Rembrandt exhibition is also worthwile.

Thank you so much for your visit!
Hopefully to see you again. All the best!
The old palace was nearly completely destroyed, but they managed to rebuild it, using every small piece of stone or decoration they could save.

Thank you for your review, and hopefully, see you soon!
Really enjoyed our visit here, lots to see and explore. The castle is in a fabulous location and has lovely gardens to sit and relax in. Highly recommend this place

One of the first exhibits you see upon starting the self-guided tour of the Royal Castle is a multi-media presentation showing the complete destruction of the building which took place in October 1944. The current building rose from a pile of rubble and parts that were able to be salvaged have been incorporated into the structure including some of the finishes in the grand staterooms. The restoration work is remarkable with many of the rooms feeling like they truly date back several hundred years. Be sure to take the escalators down to the vaulted Kubicki Arcades and walk back up through the original stone passageway which is to the left of the escalators as you look at them from the arcade. Also be sure to view the incredible art collection including two stunning Rembrandts.

Best from Zamek!
An excellent effort to rebuild and return Warsaw and it's royal history to its former glory. Museum is worth a visit, although recommend not bringing kids under 12 years old. An audio guide is very helpful to have, otherwise it's difficult to decipher alot of the meaning and history of what you're seeing. Unfortunately, many of the royal treasures were looted and lost during World War II, but they've done a fantastic job reenacting every room. It's right in the center of Castle Square and when you're done there are plenty of places to get a meal or sit in the shade and relax.

The castle is awesome and also the history of destruction and rebuild from the ashes. There are amazing pieces of art In the castle. It is also free to visit the whole November. It worth to get an audio guide in English. For the Greek people we offer a greek-speaking live guide.
I was with my kid which it was 7 years old. It was boring for his age and at some point he wanted to leave.
