The castle did not look like it was very big from the outside, so we did not think there would actually be very much to see, but once inside it was an incredible surprise! Completely reconstructed after the war, it was just stunning. The audio guide was invaluable in helping us to learn about its history and the efforts to save items such as its artwork. Wherever possible, fragments of the original castle were included in the reconstruction. It was a very poignant and inspiring tribute to the resilience of the Polish people and how much effort they have put in to rebuilding Warsaw.

We visit the Royal Castle in Warsaw on 19 December 2019 after we missed out two years ago on the opportunity. It is a beautiful place with many treasures and priceless paintings. We enjoyed the morning and was really impressed and surprised with the professional manner the staff treated us after reading negative reviews about them on TripAdvisor.

The palace was obliterated by dynamite by the Nazis after the Warsaw Uprising. It was rebuilt by the Polish people after the war had ended. Like much of Warsaw, it is impressive not for its age or the size of the building, but for the resilience and dedication that it represents. Many artworks have been donated by the people to decorate the palace and the entire complex is worth viewing.

Lovely place. Not much to see as this building was heavily bombed during WWII. But there is lots of history in it.

It’s a cool, not too big of a place that you can enjoy for an hour and a half. Many stuff to see. I liked the wood works on the flooring and some cool carpentry’s stuff
