A nice place to visit whilst in Warszawa, as all major atteactions are within walking distance.

Sit & watch the locals go about their business, get great photos on the re-built Old Town (destroyed in 1944), or spend an evening HSE when the place comes alive with buskers & Thera a laid back atmosphere

Unlike other big European city, this main tourist concentrated place is a very nice place to stroll during the day or night. Or just sit at one of the Cafe enjoy watching people walking by. The cars are not allowed in the square but I do see few taxis and motorcycles going through. Not sure what was the deal but overall your feel very calm and relaxed in this place. We stayed at Sofitel so it was a only few minutes walk to get to here. We came every night for a good Polish dinner and really enjoyed it.

The Poles have done an outstanding job of rebuilding Warsaw and other cities after WWII. There is no trace of the horror that was visited upon these people. Their pride shows in their parks, castles and squares. This is just one of the magnificent places like this in Warsaw.

Bustling and busy square surrounded by a multi coloured array of historical buildings and dominated by Catle and the Kings statue.
Many small streets lead off the square although there are some pavement caves around the peripherery.

Not much in the square. a big space but at night, when it's not raining, many people walk through giving the place a sense of character, almost.
