Our experience at this restaurant while making a visit to Warsaw may not reflect its true worth since the fixed dinner menu (12 "moments") had a Christmas theme and therefore cannot be experienced other than at this time of the year. The dinner was based on original Christmas dishes eaten by Poles and transformed to represent these dishes in an unique manner. I am Polish, though living for many years abroad, so I know what to compare the Atelier Amaro Christmas experience with. The presentation was very good, artistic and unique. However, the taste was not. If you have to quickly grab a glass of water or wine to wash away the taste after most of the "moments", something is wrong. To me the taste of most was simply too intense, like eating strongly concentrated borscht, for instance, though solid and bite-sized.
I would like to go back there at a different time of the year to check it out again. After all it did get a Michelin star for some reason but the high price may keep me from doing so since there are many good and popular restaurants in Warsaw that offer very tasty though maybe not unique dishes for a small fraction of the price.

This is palce is very difficult to make a reservation, but managed to find a table for 2 for lunch during weekday. Each of their 'Experience' meals presented briliantly, its more of art than food, but equally food tasted wonderfu.

Great atmopshere and well mannered wariters, although I would like to go back, just difficult to get a reservation! Best suited for romantic occassion, not so much for business lunch though.

Polands first one star restaurant did not disappoint. The quality of the locally inspired dishes was first class. The staff polite and very knowledgable of each course or 'moment' The wine package expertly matched to the food was explained in great detail. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Overall very good value and an experience I will surely repeat in the future.

This is a gourmet restaurant, and Polands only one with a guide Michelin star. Probably well deserved we belive.

The menu is fixed, choose 3, 5 or 8 dishes with package of wine or local spirits. The menus are changed on a weekly basis, and is in large part based on seasonial local products.

We had the 8 "moments" menu, which were full of tasty surprises. Also the winepackage with the food was excellent. However each dish is very small (see photos), and even with 8 dishes you could probably have more... Also make sure you have sufficient time... 8 dishes = 4 hours :-)

Staff was friendly, profesional and very discret. Atelier Amaro is a food experince worth trying, at least once. But for 6-700 zlotys (150-175euros) per person (8 dishes with drinks) you really could wine and dine for a whole week pretty much everywhere else in Poland :-)

It is a gourmet restaurant so you cant expect anything ala carte. Food selection is limited to 3 menu options ( 3-5-8 dishes) plus many side appetizers also determined by master chief. The service is highly competent . Selection of dishes and tastes corresponds with local market current supply and polish kitchen menu traditions. Currently (October) main theme of dinner is autumn and mushrooms. From the point of view of food quality and art of cooking this restaurant has no competitor in Warsaw. From the point of view of prices - either. You have to expect more then 100 euro per person bill. But food is worth its price. But there are also cons - the ambient is not existing, interior decoration is rather tasteless, dont expect any special or romantic ambient. Just good food.
