“Charming B&B with Great Care and Attention”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

We spent one night at this lovely B&B before going to Krakow and then two nights on our trip back before flying home. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful and offered helpful advice on places to go and how to get there. Coffee was the best we had on our trip.. The B&B is a ways from the center of the city, but worth it as it is close to a lovely park where we spent our last hours before going to the airport. Highly recommend it. I believe all rooms have access to a balcony, some shared some on their own which was a lovely spot to relax.

We stayed here in August. l'd requested a room on the same floor as my daughter and they gave us rooms with interconnecting doors and a huge balcony. l asked for an iron and they took all my clothes away and ironed them beautifully with no charge. The room was spotless. Breakfast was buffet style in a lovely room on the upper floor. The owners and son were very helpful in getting us a taxi every day. With every good thing there is always a minus and in this case it was with the taxis. Coming back was an ordeal every time as none of the taxi drivers in Warsaw can speak english and didn't know where this place was so my advice to Wawabed get a taxi company who know your bed and breakfast well and you would be 6 star.

We were quite pleased with this lodging arrangement. The sleeping areas were spacious and quiet, and the breakfasts were all you could possibly want! Careful; European coffee is not served the same as European coffee. It could knock your socks off!

Room Tip: This was a wonderful hideaway with all the amenities of home!

We stayed in Wawabed for three nights and were delighted. It is a beautiful house with beautifully, individually decorated rooms. It has a lovely breakfast room with a sitting area with a comprehensive library of encyclopedias in several languages, which opens onto a terrace which is available in good weather. The hosts are outstanding; very friendly and helpful and with an impressive command of several languages so communication is far better than can be expected in most Polish hotels. The B&B is located in a pleasant residential area, blissfully quiet! In less than 5 minutes you can walk to the bus stop where there are several buses to the city or to metro stops. Public transport is quick, efficient and very inexpensive. You can buy a three day pass which gives you access to the whole city. Although there are no restaurants "around the corner" access to the city centre is quick and convenient. We have no experience of other accommodation in Warsaw, but reading widely we are convinced that this is the best value and most welcoming stay available in Warsaw. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Fantastic B&B in Warsaw but a fair way out of town .... They are very happy to book cabs for you which will cost about 30 zloty (i.e. pennies) to get in and take about 10/15 minutes. Otherwise its a short walk, a short bus trip and then a metro train ride. This wasnt a big problem for us and the hotel itself is fabulous ... Great clean rooms with flat screen TV, balcony, bottled water, shared tea and coffee facilites and proper pillows ! Breakfast was perfect ... Fruit, muesli, nespresso coffee, sausages, scrambled eggs etc served in a nice room or on an upstairs balcony. Staff were amazing and couldnt do enough for us.

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay at Wawa Bed and would recommend it to other travelers. Staff was helpful and informative. The room was comfortable and bathroom new and spotless. Could use a fridge in the room and extra pillows if possible but other than that a great place for a quiet stay awayb from the hubub of central Warsaw. No problem using busses or Metro, just get the 3 day pass. It's cheap and great.
