Description: Kuźnia Smaku offers a unique menu inspired by the culinary masters of the Twenties and Thirties of pre-war Warsaw. Dishes that you will find here are inspired by Polish, European, Jewish and sometimes Caucasus cuisines. Traditional recipes combined with modern lightness will delight even the most demanding gourmets. Taking ideas from multiple cultures, we forge enchanting tastes and dishes. Over its 15 years of existence, Kuźnia Smaku has seen many distinguished guests, diplomats, politicians, businessman, scientists and artists grace its tables with their presence. We're also a port of call for residents of Warsaw and tourists who want to experience good Polish cuisine. As it had been years ago in the Ziemiańska restaurant, modern history unfolds on our premises, with delicious cuisine and a magical atmosphere always on the menu

I was in Warsaw for the weekend and visited Kuznia Smaku which is a very well established restaurant and my favourite place to eat in the centre of Warsaw. The menu is extensive and the service excellent. I love this restaurant as you have the feeling of travelling back in time. The decor is art deco with crisp white table cloths, old photos, subdued lighting and lots of artifacts and plants. I tend to always go for the steak tartare to start and roast Polish duck for the main course. The prices are very reasonable and for example, the main course I had, which was one of the more expensive options, was only about £11. Highly recommended and after dinner, you have many bars and clubs nearby. Papparazzi as a pre-club bar is a favourirte of mine and just a few doors away.

We just traveled thru 4 countries and this was the nicest, quaintest, wonderful restaurant we went to. If you do not go to this while in Warsaw you have missed a real treasure! The venue is just stunning- lots of antiques and wonderful music. The food is great- don't miss the chicken and broccoli with pasta and the stuffed cabbage ! The service is unbelievable- the waiters are SO nice and if you would like - they have great stories to share with you. Seriously I have been to 30 countries and this is a restaurant not to be missed.( and very reasonable too!!)

This Restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at the Hotel Sofitel when we inquired about a good restaurant serving local cuisine. This turned out to be one of the best restaurants we ate at during our 7 day trip to Warsaw. We first went to this restaurant for lunch and liked it so much we went back twice for dinner. The Restaurant had a 1920's decor feel but is very modern in its food and presentation. The salads are amazing. Our waiter Slawek was very attentive and a pleasure to get to know, this also added to the charm of this Restaurant. We found prices to be very reasonable compared to other European cities as well as North America. This Restaurant is well worth the short walk from Old Town and is just across the street from the Unknown Soldier. Well worth a visit.

This nicely decorated restaurant is a real find in Warsaw. Located at a place of a famous pre-war restaurant Ziemianska, Kuznia Smaku offers mainly traditional East European dishes. Quality of food is amazing and you even find some rare wines at very reasonable prices. Great service by very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, you get great service, amazing food and great atmosphere at very reasonable prices. Give Kuznia Smaku a try.

The service was unexpectedly good. You feel Welcome and cared for.

In the menu you can find many different dishes. The wine selection is also good with different price level. The food that was served was mighty handsome spotted and tasted OK.
We had successful evening at our annual meeting. Will gladly return. My friends would like to come back, too. I recommend the restaurant and special if you want to celebrate something.
