“Excellent food in friendly, cosy atmosphere.”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

The best restaurant I have even been in Poland. Real Polish specialties of exceptional quality. Excellent meat plates. Friendly service. Latin-style paintings on the walls, nice artistic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it for anybody visiting in Warsaw. The nice, family-warm face of Poland.

“Not giving up”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

Once upon a time one of the top restaurants in Warsaw, now under heavy pressure by the new places that have opened nearby, Dyspensa had to undergo a little lifting last year and got a bit of modern look & feel. The new look does not make any difference as for me, fortunately the food is still very good and the service quite professional. Enjoy the menu consisting of combination of local & Italian cuisine. Bon apetit!

“Fantastic and real cooking”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

That's the place you can go to taste the best quality polish style cooking. Not the peasant one, which is novadays so popular (and I don't know why) but the homelike traditional dishes. The prices are high but when you will finish the meal you will know why. They are using the best sort of ingredients, serving is generous. The service is great, waiters are very caring, friendly and know everything about the menu. Favourite picks: the duck, the steak, fishes, dumplings, the brot soup and for the side dishes : baked beetroots, early potatoes, mushrooms stewed with cream and the cucumber salad. It's rather a small restaurant with pleasant ambience. Very nice modern art pieces on the walls.

“One of the best restaurants in Warsaw”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Excellent quality for the ones that know what that means, ofcourse its pricey, but what else can you expect....

The dorade baked in salt tastes like in Italy (or Spain)....the salmon tartare is superb....some of the "daily" fare tasted great.

If you know your food and are a discerning dining buff - in the internationla scene....just try it!

“Nice place but food is average”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Very fashionable place in Warsaw at the moment with nice atmosphere.
Food is Polish , fresh but nothing special.
Meat is much better than fish ( they have fresh fish only once a week).
I recommend steak tartare and lamb leg.
Nice surprise: they have great wine list , may be one of the best in town at the moment.
Also house wine is really excellent . Service is nice but not really trained in the professional way.
