A very atmospheric Museum that goes a long war towards recreating what happened here in 1944. I would certainly recommend a bait and the price is very reasonable.

We went to alot of museums in February and it's interesting to see that all of them do things a bit differently and this was no exception. Great exhibits and a lot of information and history.

Well worth going, but I found the audio commentary which you can purchase separately could have been more concise.

Great history, a lot of information. There is a small 3D cinema room which plays City of Ruins (included in the ticket price). The museum can be very emotional.

The only negative is the layout, you might get confused where to go and don't miss something. There is a big map at the reception, worth to have a look and take a pic of it before visiting.

If in Warsaw the Warsaw Uprising Museum is a must see sight. One could spend an entire day going through the displays in this museum located in an old powerhouse. We spent 3 hours here and by the time we left we understood well how the Polish people suffered under the Nazis and the Soviets. Very confronting history not very well displayed. We visited on a day when entry was free.

Overall, this is a good museum with lots of information, interesting and interactive displays, and a great way to learn about some of Poland’s past. However, as many other reviews comment, the layout is terrible. It’s so hard to know which was you are supposed to go, even with the map. It means that you can’t really follow the timeline of events but rather just random bits of information. Also, the staff in generally were very unfriendly. I’d highly suggest an organised tour to get the most out of this Museum - it’s not one to go alone!
