We went there to learn about Warsaw uprising but we learnt more in 5min on Wikipedia than there! There is no clear explanations/timeline of the event, the first section is a narrow corridor jammed with people as the rest of the museum is large rooms, why? Quite disappointing.

We visited the Uprising Museum in Warsaw during a short week vacation in the city. After arriving with plenty of expectations, we found the museum to. E a lot less than what we anticipated: the space itself is small and crowded. It is full of original era items (uniforms, guns and weapons, household objects etc.) as well as photographs and testimonials - however these are presented in a cluttered manner and in over-capacity compared to the small space.

The display is distributed between all 3 floors of the building that to say the least, tells the fascinating story of the polish uprising post-WW2 ina very complicated, old fashioned way. In fact, from the display one could hardly reproduce the happenings at this interesting historical chapter because it is not communicative or intuitive , full of texts and visuals and is hard to follow. Additionally, the visitor path is less clear than it could be and all in all, even though we definitely are historical a museums fans - we found ourselves bored way too quickly.

Not a must while visiting Warsaw.

This museum is a must for any visit to Warsaw. I wasn't prepared for the wealth of information available & the emotions the exhibitions would stir. We visited late on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't particularly busy but felt there wasn't enough time to spend on all of the exhibitions. The audio guide really is useful but it's almost too much to take in during one trip. The movies & effects are really very impressive. I would recommend it & will certainly return.

I went there on Sunday, since it's free entrance day. I wasn't expecting much bit I must genuinely and honestly say that it's been an amazing experience. If you have the Chance do pay them a visit. It's a very interactive musuem, reproducing the conditions and the history of the rising of Warsaw during the 40s. Lots of videos, testimonials and items to see. Easy to reach by tram lines from the central station.

It's worth getting the audio guide for 10z to explain everything. It was free on Sunday but crowded. It's very interesting and well done with the most disturbing content shielded from younger eyes.
