Absolutely one of the best single-theme museums I’ve ever visited—in many ways similar in design, atmosphere, quality of display, and impact as the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. It will be my first recommendation to any friends visiting Warsaw. The museum is well-planned and easy to follow. All descriptions are in Polish and English. The collection of artifacts and stories is very impressive. There are many video displays and movies to watch of the uprising. We spent over two hours here and could’ve spent much more time. Luckily, we arrived just as it was opening—it was packed within an hour. Go early and plan to stay longer than expected!
