My partner and I had room 16, on the ground floor just by reception, and my son had room 26, which was on the next floor. They were completely different - ours was ultra modern, done out in black and white with big portraits painted on the walls, with a very modern bathroom, while the single room was a more traditional style. We hadn't requested any particular room, but actually we prefer a more traditional style. However, it didn't matter, as it was very comfortable, with a very good bed and lovely sheets and a nice big shower. We had a good view over Castle Square.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast cost extra, but was good. The dining room was very small, and more like a lounge with tables, but it was fine. You could also use it as a lounge at other times of the day. They provided water, and guests had use of a computer, though Wifi was also available. The hotel provided games and umbrellas for wet weather! What more could you ask for? The location could not have been better - right on the edge of the old town.

Some people may need to know that because the hotel is in a very old building, they are unable to install a lift. The staff will help with luggage, but you will still need to use the stairs; reception is not at ground level.

We found the hotel to be very comfortable and friendly and would certainly stay there again if we were to visit Warsaw again.

This hotel was in a really good location, directly opposite the castle. Most tourist sites were within walking distance. Room was very clean and modern. We had an African themed room which was nicely decorated. Very friendly and helpful service, they were more than happy to answer any questions we had. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: There is no lift so ask for a low floor if you have trouble climbing stairs

This small hotel is located in a (restored) historic building just across the (restored) Royal Castle. Inconspicuous entrance with fast access to rooms. Willing personnel. Quiet but in the middle of everything touristy. The hotel has many rooms, with some facing the well, some facing the castle, and some facing the castle and the castle square. The last are best as one can see lots of action in the evening.

Excellent restaurant downstairs and many restaurants withing one block. Paid breakfast but with good service. If the coffee is weak, ask for stronger.

Room Tip: Facing the castle and especially the corner rooms. The one on top have slanted ceilings so tall peop...

The hotel itself is nice, but not overly great. The internet service was a bit frustrating: sometimes worked in the room, sometimes didn't. All rooms are very different from each other. Have experienced three: #22 is o.k.; #25 is very good; #26 is too small. Fantastic location though and the price is good. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.

Small but very nice hotel in the Warsaw old city. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable.
there are many sightseeings, restaurants and bars around.
We spent here just one night but I will stay here again in the next time.

There are very few hotels in the Warsaw old city, so accommodation is at something of a premium. The location of the Castle Inn is ideal, being right on the edge of the main old city square. Of course, this means it is noisy, not only from revellers outside, but also from the clock on the palace, which chimes every 15 minutes, plus the hour at the top of the hour. They do supply free earplugs, which you might well need, especially as you will no doubt need the windows open, as there is no air conditioning. We were on the third floor, which was the hottest, so it's probably best avoided in summer. A fan was provided, but of course that adds to the noise.

Room itself was fine. The rooms are themed, though I am not quite sure what the theme of ours was supposed to be. I was quite surprised how small and limited the room was - the bed was certainly very small by modern standards. The en-suite, though clean and new, was made with cheap plastic components, though the shower had good pressure and there was plenty of hot water.

Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is extra (35Zl). There are plenty of other places to have breakfast, but it will cost as much outside and what is offered in the hotel is probably better. There was certainly plenty of choice and variety.

Free internet in the room was reliable and a good signal.

All in all, this was a reasonable price and a fantastic location. It's not up to 4 star UK standards, but probably as good as you will get in this location, which, as everyone has said, is ideal.

Room Tip: Avoid the third floor if possible

Perfect location in a semi-historic building directly on the main castle square. Nice comfy rooms and bohemian decorations make it feel rather homey. During our stay the weather was intolerably hot and like most Poland inns the rooms aren't air conditioned, so keep that in mind. Also outside you have a huge clock tower and revelers partying and carousing until the wee hours on the square, so if that noise bothers you don't stay here (they did include very effective little earplugs...) Staff was super friendly and incredibly helpful! Breakfast looked great too but we missed that...

Room Tip: Rooms facing the square may be rather loud, but you can't beat the festive atmosphere.
