Really cool place :) It's a summer hostel placed in a students dorm. It's ten minutes walk from the Old Town (really nice walk! grab falafel in Ali Baba on your way ;P). Awesome and helpful staff. Beds were comfy (eventhough they didn't look like they are). Really good value for the money. Would recommend :)

Room Tip: Drink Orzechówka in Białe Wino i Owoce ;-)

We are a group of young travelers from Italy, we visited Poznan for a few days. Economic necessity we were forced to stay overnight only one of us at Dizzy Daisy. The extraordinary thing was being able to store our luggage every night completely free, interacting with staff always very polite and helpful. Very honest prices and great service, free internet access. Will definitely come back to stay next summer!

This hostel was average to us. We enjoyed it, but there were a few kinks. This used to be an old university dorm.

Location:
The location of this hostel was great. It was very close to main square, the mall, and other popular locations. As well as the train station, which really makes it easier to go and from a city.

Room:
The room was nice. 3 beds, sink, cabinets, table, refrigerator are all included in every room. It used to be a dorm so you can tell by the set up of the rooms. The rooms were kinda clean, but the sink was kind of gross (in the room and the bathroom), but we made do. It was helpful though, we didn't have to go to the bathroom to wash our hands if we wanted to. And the rooms were very very spacious. Lots of it!

Bathroom:
Community bathrooms. I have used them before, but these were a little icky. Again, go early in the morning.

At night:
The hostel is very very creepy at night! The windows are open, the walls are green so they glow with the hallway lights, and the curtains are blowing in the air. I have a picture that I will post! So don't travel alone in the hostel at night.....ha.

Mess hall:
The main check in area was pretty cool. They have the check in window, and then sofas and tables set up with 2 computers for people to use. and free wifi in the lobby. Which was a nice touch to check emails or something.

Overall, the feeling of it was pretty cool. Main age group was still young and lots of people seemed to be doing projects of some sort. So lots of activity during the day time.

On the fence about this hostel. Might stay here, unless I find something cheaper and better near main square.

Hope it helps! jd.

It was really ok. The price and the location were great. True, not the most beautiful hostel in the world, but clean and calm, and the staff were super nice.

Room Tip: kitchen might be empty, but ask about pots and pans at the reception, they keep it there

We stayed 2 nights in Poznan in Dizzy Daisy and we enjoyed our stay there. Hostel is close to the Main Market Square. The staff was really nice and helpful, always gave us good tips about what to see and how to get there. Room was also ok. It could use some repainting, but was clean. Also the price was low. We can recommend for others.

The hostel located in good place, not so far from the center. Next to the building, you can park your car on on the street, close to the hostel.
The buliding is old, the rooms' equipment too and well-worn. Sink, table, chairs and cabinet in every room, the kitchen and the bathroom open from the corridor - both were clean, but worn too.
The staff is helpful, and you can get informations from them, from brochures, leaflets and posters about the city and the facilities. The hostel is cheap, but it's not worth it, because of the room conditions.
