“Here Poland began..”
Reviewed April 25, 2012

Not only it is one of the most important places for Poles, but also an incredibly interesting Basilica in terms of architecture. Gothic, romanesque, baroque.. combination of many influences and times. Each chapel has its own history and style. The surroundings of the Cathedral are also interesting.
Definitely visit the vault.

“A must see in Poznan”
Reviewed April 7, 2012

Incredible connection between Gothic and Baroque. The most important are Golden Chapel and tombs of first Polish kings. Nice place to calm down.

“A thousand years of Christanity in Poland began here!”
Reviewed February 12, 2010

Go to the basement and see where Christianity, which has played such an extensive role in Polish history, began!
